EEST is a Pan Asian restaurant featuring five distinct Asian cuisines - Japanese, Vietnamese, Chinese, Thai and Malay with a modern and innovative twist.

The bubur cha cha turned out to be the saving grace for the desserts. It was one of the best bubur cha cha I have ever tasted! Delicious and not too sweet, with lots of yam and potato cubes and sago in it, I was really satisfied with it.

The food is nice and the ambience is good, the freshness of Japanese food worth the money. The Jampagne’s concept is rather different from the normal self service buffet spread.

Can’t tell which one is the best, as all three tasted so good. Love the creaminess of vanilla filling, chewiness of mochi, deep chocolaty of dark chocolate and ice cream wrapped with cheese aroma to every bit.

Below are some drooling photos of our “makan” trip at Nihon Kai Japanese Restaurant, Old Klang Road. The food here is darn good and reasonably priced! Definitely a place worth trying.

Superb

A friendly waitstaff ushered us up the stairs to where there was more seating. Both of us shared some warm green tea, which we ordered first, and then proceeded to browse the menu.

... -Rolled Asparagus), Located opposite right of Sugimoto.

Nonbei is nothing like your usual japanese restaurant. Cause it isn't, its more of a drinking hole serving japanese food (finger food to be precise). Nonbei is actually a branch of Sugimoto. All in all, we had a good dinner there with the owner and the bar manager entertaining us with the occasional chats whenever they are not busy running around serving food. Definitely worth another visit when I'm in that area again.

The name "Kampachi" is not an unfamiliar name to most of those people who would love Japanese cuisine.

In the words of Chiharu Yabe, General Manager of Kampachi Restaurants, “this is a great way to experience different cultures of Japanese food and the Japanese are so passionate about food, they practise kuidaore – eat till you drop!” That sounds very Malaysian to me, too!

This is the best and most authentic Japanese Shabu Shabu I had in KL and Selangor area. The environment setup are very classy and is totally on a different level than conveyeur belt type ofShabu Shabu restaurants. Their signature broth were so good till you can just drink it like that.

Exceptional

This was a pretty decent eat each with its high and lows. But for me, I have had better.

Famous for their Hokkaido soft serve ice cream and their funky creations.

Bad

Slightly less sweet compare with the previous one. I somehow not really impressed with the Hokkaido ice cream because it is not really special to me. Indeed the ice cream is smooth but it is just too sweet. Is it original Hokkaido ice cream like that or they changed the recipe to suit our local culture here?

Superb

Just like other Shabu-shabu restaurant, you can have your own pot of broth. Great right, you can now throw back your food to the pot after one bite!! Besides that MOMO also fully air-conditioned. So if you still want to enjoy steamboat under a HOT and Sunny Day, this can be a good choice. The restaurant are separate to two floor. The right hand side on the ground floor are seatings by the conveyer belt that circulating all sorts of steamboat ingredients while the other side of it, you will serve by the waiters. He/she will push carts around and let you choose the ingredients. Some big group eater will sometime provide 1 big pot for sharing instead of the the single pot usage because the seating on ground floor for individual pot is only for 4 person. While the 2nd floor is you need to walk around to get your own ingredients. Personally I will prefer 2nd floor because you can easily take whatever you want and no need to worry the food is all taken by the eater infront of you HAHA.
