One of the most wonderful spread of buffet lines in Penang, ranging from local delicacies to international favorites.
The wine list for the buffet isn't grand, but I did enjoy the Fire Road Pinot Noir from Marlborough, New Zealand. This Pinot possessing supple tannins, made for easy pairing with the wide variety of food. On the nose I got mushrooms, black tea, cola, perfumed raspberries, and hints of cinnamon. For the Palate I got a medium - body, medium - tannins, medium delightful acidity, and a pleasantly surprising medium + intensity of flavors of cheery, cranberry, and baking spices. I got a slight vanilla finish...kind of like the smell of a house after a vanilla cake is done baking, the aroma lingers, but in a pleasant way.
A Japanese buffet restaurant offerring lots of varieties of food from starters right up to appetizers, at a reasonable price.
Jang-gun at fahrenheit 88 (under shogun group). The food taste not good at all. Me and my 2 girlfriends barely eat eventhough it was a buffet. We saw some tiny cockroaches walking on the tray of foods; so disgusting! It does not worth the money at all even we purchase from groupon at RM46/person.
Spice Market Cafe onsisting of the freshest seafood to the most innovative local delights.

Chef Seth's signature dishes impressed us with its evocative flavors and impressionable quality. The dish Laal Maans stands out from the other dishes, it was robust with flavors and delicately salted.
Japanese buffet at its most extravagant, with the freshest of seafood, tempura, sashimi and even cooked-on-demand fare brought straight to your table. At a reasonable buffet price the atmosphere is casual, relaxed and elegant. Great place indeed; nice dining area with a wide range of seafood spread available; everything from fish to scallop to oysters to clams to Sashimi to crabs and lobsters! Jogoya is a famous japanese buffet chain from Taiwan. Unlike the likes of Saisaki in UOA2, Jogoya is meant to be more high class.
