Wayback Burgers - Melawati Mall
Like your favorite song... or that friendship formed in grade school. Wayback Burgers is all about creating great memories that stand the test of time. That's why our restaurants are warm and inviting - comfy places where you can hook up with good friends, put your elbows on the table, and simply be yourself. Kind of like the Great Store of yesterday, where the locals would gather around the stove for great stories and good companionship and let the world go by. Everything felt familiar and - almost in an indescribable way - "just right." Rest assured: You can still get those same feelings today. Because at Wayback Burgers, we're a throwback to a simpler, more genuine time. And as we continue to grow, our humble beginnings still represent everything we stand for.
posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsWayback Burgers, one of the ‘better burger’ brands from U.S., has opened up their first outlet in Malaysia in Melawati Mall. When ‘better burger’ chains are mentioned, they usually refer to the industry leaders like Five Guys and In-N-Out Burger. These chains are supposedly a class above fast food restaurants and serve fresh to order burgers with higher quality ingredients. Overall our first experience at Wayback Burgers was a disappointing one. Even more so, considering we braved the traffic all the way from Kepong and had to deal with the mall’s horrendous parking. To be absolutely fair, the restaurant is new so maybe they still have some things to work out. But all I can really think of now is that we could have went down a few floors and eaten at Carl’s Jr instead

For about a decade, they have been serving lovely Italian delicacies, churned out by a passionate kitchen team led by Italian Executive Chef Paolo Pala. Read quite a number of positive reviews about this place, finally paid it a visit to pamper our Friday night.

Jaloux
posted www.what2seeonline.com 437 ReviewsJaloux on King Street in George Town, Penang (right next to Wa Coffee Cafe) is touted as the place for pasta. The air-conditioned cafe with a heritage old look was opened recently by the same people behind Cozy in the Rocket at Armenian Street which has since ceased operations. While we were there for lunch, the tables were filled with mostly working locals. Pasta is on the lunch and dinner menu in addition to risotto and several other small dishes of grilled country bread, cold cuts, pork bacon and ham.
