Madam Lee's serves up the sumptuous Hock Chew dessert and delicious Hock Chew comfort food. When she cooks, her family and neighbours salivate! Her son, Jacky, being proud of his mother’s cooking, set up Hock Kee to showcase his mother’s recipes and style of cooking so that everyone can savour his mother’s wonderful cooking. Hock Chew are a people who hailed from Foo Chow, China, settling predominantly in Sarawak and Sitiawan on the Peninsular side and who has a unique type of food. The must-try are Hock Chew fish ball, Chinese red wine and vinegar noodle and Hock Chew peanut soup, a traditional dessert served on the 3rd day of Chinese Lunar New Year.

For the drinkers, you'd know that a bottle of Verve retail is already between RM220-RM250, and that's from the shops....Drink any bottle at a 5 star establishment will probably be around RM400...so from that angle, if you love food and bubbly, its a reasonable deal.

From what I was told, Ah Yee Curry Mee had a humble beginning as an economy noodle and chee cheong fun stall. Yong tau fu and other noodles were only added as part of her offerings in the later years.

Not only the course will include more meat, some of the existing items have been upgraded as well. Lastly, you definitely would not want to miss Yakiniku Toraji’s weekday set lunch. There are two types, one comes with marinated Wagyu beef at RM30 (limited to 10 sets a day) and the other is served with Australian beef (no limit) at RM40. Every set is also accompanied by an appetizer, rice, salad and soup. Trust me, it’s super worth it
