For one who doesn't take eggplant, i took this. The other Fried Eggplant i had was in Ijok but unlike that, this was cut into thin strips. Felt like i was eating potatoes. I can imagine this as a finger food, eating only this while watching a movie. Eggplant is good for health, but (being health conscious awhile) i learned that fried in oil isn't the same as it absorbs the oil. Guilty pleasure.

Easy to find as it face the main road (the row of shops behind the market) Love her kuih for their homemade & authentic flavor ;not like those commercial imports, please! You can taste the difference the moment you sink your teeth into any of her kueh. She makes her daily and they are sold off mostly by lunch time. So each batches of her kueh are made fresh! Famous for her ang koo (including the rare black types) ,kuih talam and many more. Writing this makes me feel like having one of her kueh with my kopi-o now ! Try them out !

The chicken rice stall owner welcome us and we ordered from him. Bad experience started when the chicken rice stall owner deliver the food and my wife questioning the price inconsistency. The chicken rice stall owner clarify the price and become agitated, started raising his voice and claimed that we unfairly accused him charging excessive. I have to calm him down! He keep on raising his voice on us for a minute. I did not choose to quarrel with him as I do not want to show bad example to my daughter. His chicken rice is okay but the very poor service and attitude toward customer make us stop visiting to Kong Heng again. Other stalls in the restaurant services are good by Malaysia standard. The chicken rice stall leave a very bad name to Kong Heng restaurant Ipoh. I do not think I am the first customer to get bad experience from him. I advise future customer not to question or argue with him in order to have peaceful meal.
