Trending Restaurants in Malaysia – Popular for this month
Cheap, tantalising, and varieties in buffet steamboat.
This place is famous for the fast service, honey chicken wing and value for money (fresh and RM19.80/head). I would give it 2/3 if it wasn't for the crazy crowd and the need to fight for chicken wing.
Waterlily, Buddy-Buddy and Bumbu Bali are actually under the same management or shall I say family owner? Bumbu refers to herbs of Bali. It was run by the owner, Eddy and his Bali wife.

I was invited by my lunch buddies to have German food in Mid Valley. In the recent months, they have introduced their set lunch packages which includes a glass of drink and a selection of your main dish. You can add on soup or salad too. According to my friend, this restaurant also offers pork knuckle. Perhaps, will try it out next time. There were no lunch crowd when we visited the restaurant which is located at the ground floor, open al-fresco area outside the Mid Valley Megamall. We chose to sit at the centre of the restaurant. Mixed Sausages Platter This is my main dish. It consisted of 3 different sausages with bread roll, salad and creamy mashed potatoes. The sausages were crispy and tasted good. It came with special sauces used for all main dishes.
One of the oldest and most original satay celup restaurant. Compared to lok lok which is dipping raw foods into hot water, this is dipping into hot peanut sauce. All the foods were stored in refrigerator to preserve the freshness. Be sure to go there early as the sauce will be recycled and recooked. If you go early, your sauce is fresh from the kitchen.

Great place for satay celup if you don't want to be stuck in the line for an hour.

There was a time when friends were incessantly posting photos and checking-in on Facebook when they dined at this place. I wondered what all the hype was about, really. Although I have been driving past this place for a few years since I attended piano lessons over in the Imbi area, I did not realise its popularity. And so when the bestie asked where to go for lunch, I quickly suggested Levain.
Mamak restaurant with a great varieties of roti, steamy hot delicious nasi lemak.
This is the "King of all Mamak"; crowded with people during supper time, filled with guiltily delicious food and plenty of variety. Fairly quick service, but there might be some problem getting hold of the busy waiters.
it’s somewhat cozy yet stylish restaurant. The menu is gorgeous, with very deliciously shot images of their dishes.I guess Tapas must be one of their speciality here since there’s quite a range of it, from Lamb Meatball to Thai Chicken with Pumpkin There are monthly promotions plus special discounts for students and senior citizens.

Overall Rating: 5/10 for the ambiance and maybe the cakes. Despite the scorching heat, we sat there, people watching while chilling over ice peach tea for a good 3 hours, just catching up and stuff. By the end of the day, food and friendly service speaks far more eloquently than ambiance to me - don't think I will be popping by anytime soon.
A Japanese buffet restaurant offerring lots of varieties of food from starters right up to appetizers, at a reasonable price.
Jang-gun at fahrenheit 88 (under shogun group). The food taste not good at all. Me and my 2 girlfriends barely eat eventhough it was a buffet. We saw some tiny cockroaches walking on the tray of foods; so disgusting! It does not worth the money at all even we purchase from groupon at RM46/person.
Nadeje Patisserie is a cosy cafe that occupies two shop lots in Malacca. It specializes in mille crêpe, a French cake made of many crêpe layers. "Mille" means "a thousand" in French, implying the many layers of crêpe used.
Many selection of crepe cake! Have to be prepare to line up for a seat tho. Always jam packed.
Located on Level 38, THIRTY8 is a lively interactive restaurant, lounge and bar in one unique venue with stunning views of Kuala Lumpur City.

Dining at Thirty8 with its 360 degrees unobstructed view of Kuala Lumpur was great, but watching how those chefs in their open kitchen preparing my customized order from fresh ingredients to piping hot dishes was even better. For one moment I felt like I was in the set of Iron Chef but with very friendly chefs. The dishes were then sent to my table without any indication of numbering/area. After all, there were limited tables at Thirty8 and it was all about getting personal. There were 3 cuisines in general: Western, Chinese and Japanese. I adore beautiful texture of raw meat especially the balanced layers of fat and flesh. Still, Thirty8 Japanese chefs did not excel as these sashimi pieces were the best I can find from the selection. Keep the best on plate and let presentation do the talking. A simple photo that shows how well-trained their staffs are: Realizing that the spoons were missing, the waiter brought us 2 spoons and placed in 2 different directions in case we were to share. Desserts after a meal were inevitable. Though their macarons have improved in terms of texture from my previous unfavorable review on Thirty8 afternoon tea, I wish they would consider on lowering the sweetness level too.
