Taste with Jason (阿贤人情味) Featured Restaurants in Malaysia – Hosted by Axian (阿贤)
Ong Cheng Huat Seafood 王清发海鲜
It's a popular place to dine out for its specialty dishes. More and more people visiting to this place after it appeared in Taste With Jason.
Motormouth posted www.j2kfm.com 552 ReviewsThe restaurant has this very similar set up to Sitiawan seafood restaurants; vast seating capacity with round tables that can fit an extended family comfortably, high ceiling to generate a sense of space and airiness (you definitely need the latter, as there is no air-conditioning here), and selection of simple Chinese cooking (only a few dishes available daily, I will go more into that later) served with a refreshing albeit slightly intoxicating coconut wine or toddy.
Hua Xing Restaurant (华绅风味食馆)
Hua Xing have good authentic Hokkien dishes, especially their Curry Chicken Bun. They have great hospitality, cosy warm ambiance that gives you the kind of eating-at-home feeling and affordable pricing.
low.b.leong posted foodbin.blogspot.com 474 ReviewsThe food served here are Hokkien/Foo Chow style-very consistent, reasonably priced and are real gem.
Yuen Kee Cafe (源记茶餐室)
fraulein posted tamciakpo.blogspot.com 142 ReviewsThe owner and assistants were working non stop so we could be served with the noodles within minutes.
Jade Garden Restaurant 聚苑补品楼
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsThe price is quite high but think about you are paying for a good health. So everything worthwhile as long as they continue to use genuine Chinese herbs...
Pudu Wai Sik Kai (为食街)
CCFoodTravel posted ccfoodtravel.com 498 ReviewsMost of these stalls are closed on Mondays, and come alive in the evening till late.
Axian Dim Sum (阿贤)
The steamed dim sum at Axian’s Dim Sum is generally good but comes with a more expensive price @ RM4.50 each. It is however, worth the price; especially if you are a fan of Jason (tv host of Astro). Do come early before 8am and avoid the crowd and for better service and less frustration.
