After much hype and praise, I finally got a try for Saturday lunch. Lunch is now RM 48++, starts from 12:00 pm to 5:30 pm.
After much hype and praise, I finally got a try for Saturday lunch. Lunch is now RM 48++, starts from 12:00 pm to 5:30 pm.
I think the price is reasonable with good selection of food, from fresh oyster, soft shell crab, sashimi and salmon. The have a complementary/mandatory pot of seafood steamboat which is alright, and a small side dish.
I spent 3 hours there with my girlfriend, and we are all full and satisfied (until we skip dinner). I think it is a good deal for buffet, much better than Jogoya.

Please don’t go Shogun on Weekdays. The food was very trible smell. IS good to go on Wekends only….

it used to be a good place to have various choices of Japanese buffet.However it’s very much dissapointed on my last visit with my colleagues. The food did not taste as good as last time. You will notice that the food are prepared by chef and assistance which are foreigner worker, i think that’s probably the reason why it turns the quality down.
I would suggest you to go back to their initial outlet Saisaki at UOA, the big chefs are all there!

realli dissapointed eith they food at I utama SHOGUN yesterday night..im big fans of SHOGUN, yesterday tis is the first time i bring my parents to enjoy the dinner but end up many complains from my parents n siblings as well..is damn embrassing and dissapointed..no oyster, no mussel, no lamb, nothing..they dun even think to add up anything.. we ask them when the food will add…they told me tat it will serve later…wat the point we pay rm 60 perperson to eat only vegie, tofu , fried rice , and chicken …?????? i wont step in at SHOGUN anymore…plz if any of these management saw my comments plz behave … yesterday night is the worst dinner we had wif my parents. after the dinner we had to find other places to eat…but the total bill at shogun coz us RM 690 but eat for nothing…since my younger brother eat watever he got oso say the food over there like SUCKS…..im really very angry wif the food yesterday not becoz of the amount we paid…i dun mind to pay more..but plz giv us a better and fresh food…...the shasimi is not fresh at all..even i go pasar pagi is better than them…SUCKS

i went there last thursday nite for dinner, wat i can say is im really unsatisfied with the food…not fresh enough and smelly…no next time for me to enter shogun…bad impression…for those who want to enjoy buffet, i’ll recommend jogoya…much better…

I am so curious, after Shogun having so many of complaint and bad feedback, but still now there dont have any o ftheir mgmt people reply those complaint. I bet there mgmt is weak too.
