Chinese Restaurants in Kuala Lumpur - Editor's Recommendations – Editor's Pick, based on foodies' reviews
Hau kee Seafood Restaurant
This place is popular among the Cheras residents but at the same time also attracted many other food-goers around. It was very packed during dinner time.
low.b.leong posted foodbin.blogspot.com 474 ReviewsParking is horrible-double and triple parking. But the good food make up for it.
Yang Kee Restaurant
carolyntay posted www.carolyntay.com 23 ReviewsBig love for it, haven't found another beef noodles as good as Yang Kee's
Peel Road Char Siew
Just the 5 of us, we had tons of food, 8 portions of the char siew, 4 portions of the chicken, 2 vegetables, 4 portions of roast pork and soup! It was darn good!!!
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsExceptionalThey have other delicacies which are equally good such as their steamed chicken, roasted chicken, chicken leg, pork knuckles and roasted meat. The best for me is their char siew. Others did not really caught much attention from my appetite.
Sze Ngan Zhai
low.b.leong posted foodbin.blogspot.com 474 ReviewsTheir roast duck are bigger, meaty, flavorful and well marinated with a hint of salt with golden brown crisp skin.
Segambut Fried Chicken Rice
The chicken is crispy plus the sauce with plenty of spring onion, “YIN SAI” (In Cantonese) and cucumber.
mimid3vils posted www.choiyen.com 419 ReviewsWho can say NO to this affordable and delicious fried chicken? Definitely not me!
Yap Hup Kee 叶合记
d_luaz posted tammylci.blogspot.com 2 ReviewsI am not a fan of chee cheong fun or yong tau foo food but trust me this place is really so tasty until I could come back to eat here when I have so many chee cheong fun stalls around my housing area. The place may look a bit scruffy and street-ish to you but they have good food.
The Ming Room
The Ming Room is possibly one of the finest chinese restaurants in Kuala Lumpur, and gives a 'fine dining' experience outside of the usual hotel chinese restaurants
pinkroselle postedBadBeen here on weekday at 1.20pm and wait for 18 mins only have someone help us to placed an order. Is a guy wearing coat, I think he is captain. He did not even repeat our order and just take the order bill away. 2 of us ordered 4 dim sum and 1 roast pork. Wait for another an hour which is about 2.40pm, and many attempts of chasing with the waiter/waitress, only been told that the roast port is finish, and served us 2 dim sum. At around 3.00pm which is more than 1 and half hour since we reach, there are still 2 dim sum have not even come out. Call again the waiter, waitress, and waitress but their reaction seem like already use to customer chasing and waiting. Not even any apology given, which the coffee shop service is much more better than here. We understand it need time to served the crowd but excused me..we only ordered DIM SUM, which suppose to serve faster than the order to cook dishes. We did not faced this kind of service in The Garden outlet. No doubt the food here is good, but with this kind or lousy service, we will definitely not come again.
Mun Wah Hokkien Mee
small kucing posted www.smallkucing.com 554 ReviewsIt was certainly very delicious. Generous amount of ingredients like liver, prawns, intestine and of course the much needed Pork lard!
Restoran 3U Sdn Bhd
hAppYHapPy posted tailim.blogspot.com 740 ReviewsI heard of this shop serving good and delicious beef soup at Taman Taynton View, Cheras and decided to find this place and venture into this claim.
Restoran Muar
Cheryl Chan Photography posted www.cherylchanphotography.com 81 ReviewsSuperbIf you're someone who fond of crispy edges of a fried egg, I assure you that you can have a whole egg of crispiness here! Instead of having the conventional soy sauce to go with this dish, Restoran Muar has added cooking caramel for its slight sweetness along with aroma of dark soy which balanced out the greasiness. It might not be a dish for those health conscious patrons judging from the amount of oil needed, but this is the best fried egg I can ever find in KL town.
Ngau Kee Beef Noodle
The stall is actually 34 years old.
samantha sum posted tummyparadiseland.wordpress.com 35 ReviewsExceptionalNever expected this stall can be last for so long! Heard that it been they for more than 30 years! Only a small stall located along the Jln Tengkat Tung Shin. Situated at the road side.
Kedai Makanan Ban Lee 万利肉骨茶餐室
A "bak kut teh" shop that is a crowd puller. The meat’s fantastic, as I asked for them to ensure there’s more fats than meat. That’s precisely what I received, along with some ribs and some vegetables. As for the soup? I feel that there’s abit too much MSG for my taste
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsBesides Bak Kut Teh they also serve poached chicken that seem to be a hit as well with the customers. Their Sang Kuat BKT which requires early booking is said to be excellent too.
Restoran Meng Shiang
Marco Polo Restaurant (富临门)
Chinese Restaurant (award winning) with nice interior, with Tim Sum buffet on weekend morning.
ojsiew posted ojsiew.blogspot.com 633 ReviewsI regard Marco Polo as one of the best Chinese restaurant in town and will definitely wish to revisit it again and again.
Sze Ngan Zhai
low.b.leong posted foodbin.blogspot.com 474 ReviewsTheir roast duck are bigger, meaty, flavorful and well marinated with a hint of salt with golden brown crisp skin.
Purple Cane Tea Restaurant
Famous for tea and healthy food, with nice environment, free Wi-Fi plus pretty chicks. Purple Cane Tea Restaurant look nothing like its host. Its bright, modern, almost zen like with a touch of traditional tea house style furniture. A nice and quite place to chill and chit chat with friends.
Duckie posted duckies-food-blog.blogspot.com 304 ReviewsA very soothing meal in a way. Nothing oily, deep fried, curry and I suppose everything here looks and tastes healthy but a little too much tea and a little too healthy for my taste.
