AbyG112 postedBadWent there for dinner for the first time on Wednesday, all because my friend bought Groupon vouchers. The restaurant was quite run down, tables and chairs cramp together. The salad bar was horrible, coleslaw and salad dressing were watery. Some "economy rice" style dishes aside from the 2 main fried chicken dishes which were nothing to shout about. Mash potato was inedible, so was the spaghetti, fried seafood toufu tasted sour. Plastic plates and cups made me feel like I was eating in a canteen. Surprisingly it was pretty crowded.. however, it's was a not more next time for the 3 of us.
Fatty Crab Restaurant
The crabs are very fresh,and the sauce and we always asked for extra to dip the toasted bread with. YUM!

Lamb chop with mee raja was totally off, the lamb was so hard and mee raja was cold..most horrid food we have experienced. Not worth RM30/pax at all.

A lot of positive feedbacks are given to their lauk pauk, nasi dagang and noodles too. We will definitely come back to give it a try, will be having a hard time to resist ourselves from ordering the nasi lemak again. Village Park is operated by a Chinese-Muslim husband-wife team. We saw some tiny cockroaches walking on the tray of foods; so disgusting! It does not worth the money at all even we purchase from groupon at RM46/person.

It's not expensive and parking is not an issue, so I would still recommend this place as it's a nice place to dine in.

The restaurant, part of the Oriental Chain (Ming Room, Noble House, Oriental, etc), is adequately ID-ed, not over the top, but still, it is basically a Chinese restaurant. The food however, is fairly consistent with their other outlets, which is usually of an acceptable standard.
