Overall, they serve very affordable food but you just need to pick out the gems.
Dim Sum Kitchen
Dim Sum Kitchen is a dim sum specilaty restaurant, where the dim sum is only steamed when requested. Made to order dim sum usually would suggest that the dim sum would be better.
Restoran Jin Man
However their soup has "tung choy" inside which gives it an extra oomph
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsOverall: 3/5 - The fish ball indeed really good and tangy enough. Do not attempt to pick them up with your chopstick if your skill is not good. Very easily fall off from your chopstick. Anyway, the price is keep on increasing. They really not afraid of losing customer by hiking up the price. So I guess they still think the price is still acceptable for everyone since their fish ball is really good.
Wantan Mee Stall
we had to wait more than half an hour to get two plates of wantan mee. If it was great food, I wouldn't mind as much but the food was nothing exceptional.
Restoran Pom Pom
Restoran Pom Pom you would think there would be a lot of fanfare but this is really a no nonsense chinese hawker store. It used to be called Sin Sing Kee but now it's Pom Pom and there's great fun in some of the hawker stalls here.
Hong Gei Tong Sui Stall
Those UM student should know this place quite well, Seksyen 17, PJ. There are quite a lot of food stall along the road, but hardly find any taste really good. This is the Hong Gei Tong Sui, on the paper few times already.
Old Town Kopitiam
Recently just read some articles about the founder of this chain shop, the idea is good, to try to bring the old type of coffee shop into KL city, but the interior design is too "modern antique".
