Chef Holger Deh, of the Mandarin Oriental, has made every chocoholic's dreams come true with his recent work of genius, The Chocolate Bar (sound effect: angels 'ahhh'ing). A delicate spread of cacao inspired treats are seductively posed around the lobby lounge bar luring sinners with their glimmering carapaces of ecru, fawn, amber, cinnamon and sorrel. Charmy Snow Ice

Cuisines Dessert

Beat the heat with our famous Snow Ice. Charmy's snow ice is grated to fine texture giving you the real snow sensation, with a unique taste. It is light, fluffy and cooling, even more delicious when you add your favorite toppings on your snow ice! Charmy Snow Ice is natural, NON-fattening, and healthy! It is an international "ice cream" brand that has been distributed across many countries worldwide, which includes Japan, Canada, New Zealand, Singapore, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, etc.

About my experience at Charmy Snow Ice, limited seats (only 5-6 seats available) is definitely one of the main problems, additionally, the service was a bit slow too. Price-wise, was slightly on the higher side, as the portion was just okay and nothing much was added into the ice, just mere flavored syrup (top Rm1 for extra toppings).

Restoran Steamboat King.

8
Cuisines Steamboat
Business Hour 5:00pm – 1:30am

Anyway, Steamboat King is like your usual steamboat place. What was different is that they have this "Pok Pok Chooi" (which means very crispy in Cantonese) item on the menu. It's actually deep fried beancurd skin, tasting slightly different from the usual types we get from the Yong Tau Foo stall. It's extremely crispy and it's good enough to be eaten on its own, not dunked into the soup.

Paws & Catz Cafe

3
Top 500 Restaurants in Johor
Cuisines Fusion
Business Hour 12pm - 12am from Tuesdays till Sunday closed on Mondays.

Exceptional

I've been there a few times. And it's a very pleasant place. Staff there are friendly and willing to listen to comments to improve their food. Some may say it's a little expensive, but I find their food quality on par and for some dishes even better than the 'higher-class' restaurants in JB. Food presentation is awesome! The portions are huge! So I say it's fair that a meal there is around RM25+. Just try any of their fusion menu, you can't go wrong. Good place to bring dates.

Hainan Tea

Cuisines Local Halal
Superb

Of all the kopitiam in Puchong, I believe HainanTea has a slightly more interesting menu: ribena longan with plenty of longan, hainan skin or brown twister egg mayo, the convinient omega soft boiled egg set (with wholemeal bun), the unique peanut butter hainan chee cheong fun and the pretty good bbq chicken rice. We frequent this place for supper most of the time, and sometimes for lunch and dinner.
