Shin Kee Beef Noodles Specialist (新九如牛肉粉)
One of the most popular places in KL for beef noodles.
liyenz posted wp.meGoodThe beef balls are fresh and springy when you eat it. Unlike some of the beef balls which are either powdery and hard to eat. The texture is different than another famous beef noodle called, Soong Kee also. You can order either soup or dry with your choices of noodles. The broth is clear and tasty. I did not feel thirsty after finishing the soup :) I prefer the dry beef noodle and so I can mix it with the minced meat. The generous amount of minced meat can mix well with any type of noodle. Overall, it is not too oily, just look okay when I mix with the kway teow.

d_luaz postedGoodBeen here twice, it's not bad with some specialty like fried rice noodle (interesting, spicy, but too oily). Not crowded most of the time. Prices: * Noodle: RM 7.50 * Fried Rice Noodle: RM 8.90 * Soya Bean: RM 2.50

Brilliant Nasi Lemak House
d_luaz postedGoodWe ordered Nasi Lemak with Deep Friend Chicken (RM 7.80): it's not bad, but nothing to shout about at the same time.
Starbucks Kelana Jaya Giant
d_luaz postedSuperbI don't take much Starbucks nowadays, as RM 10 per pop is just too pricey compared to Old Town. But I do agree Starbucks's environment is nice and comfy, and the staff is friendly, and I think the coffee is good. You get what you pay for: premium coffee and premium environment. Valencia Macchiato (with Orange syrup): RM 13.50 for Grande. Starbucks now got this reload cards, where I agree to take one because can get 1 free coffee if I claim it online :) Reload card is great for the business, but perhaps inconvenient for non-Starbucks regular (there is always credit/money left in the card, compelling you to go back, NO!!!).
I Love Hokkien Mee
d_luaz postedSuperbThe 1st visit is quite good, the 2nd visit was slightly disappointed. I would avoid this place on weekends due to large crowds (which might affect the quality), but anyway in Puchong is crowded on weekend. The Hokkien Mee (RM 7) and Loh Mee in indeed not bad, probably the best in Puchong. Something wrong with their drink menu, the "leong char" always not available. Price: * Cantonese Fried Yee Mee: RM 7 * Apple Juice: RM 3

d_luaz postedSuperbWe do comeback here for supper or breakfast once in a while, due easy parking, and the quality of food is not bad, a something "special" as compared to standard kopitiam menu. My wife like the Sambal Fried Rice, and the Nasi Lemak is not bad. Definitely not crowded, reasonable service. Price: * Braised Mutton Noddle: RM 12.90 * D'rich Coffee O Hot: RM 2.60 * Longan Milk Honey Ice: RM 5.90
Killiney Kopitiam
Take a walk back to the "good old days", where you have a chance to enjoy food and beverages prepared in the traditional way. Be charmed by the hustle and bustle of the seemingly never-ending activities. Coupled with the rich aroma of our freshly brewed coffee, and tantalizing fragrance of our warm kaya toast, this is “the Killiney Experience". Here is a place where one can rest one’s weary feet and embrace the joys of the past.
d_luaz postedGoodAt the strategic entrance of Sooka Sentral, Killiney Kopitiam is a convenient for meetup (and a cheaper alternative to Starbucks next door). The photo of the menu could use some help (the sausage doesn't look appetizing), and I chosen the best looking food: Nasi Lemak Kampung. The food is okay, still got room for improvement. Service is decent. Price: * Kampung Fried Rice: RM 9.40 * Teh Tarik: RM 3.20
