Bukit Bintang is not short of bars and all of them are doing fairly well. Based on our observation, Pisco Bar seems to the busiest and packed with a good mix of expats, travelers and locals who work in the vicinity. The reviews of their food we read online are extremely positive too, and that is always an assuring sign.
If you can only order one dish here, get the cebiche. Also known as ceviche, it basically consists of raw fresh seafood marinated in lime juice and usually with onions and chili peppers as well.
As the seafood absorbs the marinade, it undergoes a denaturation process and turns an opaque color. In other words, the seafood gets ‘cooked’ by the citrus juice.
