Recommended Restaurants in Kuala Lumpur – Editor's Pick, based on foodies' reviews
Nak Won Restaurant
posted goodyfoodies.blogspot.com 33 ReviewsThe marinated pork ribs were pretty good too, though I still prefer the pork belly as it's more fatty. Do also eat it while its hot as it gets a little chewy once cold. Overall, we enjoyed our meal here as the meat and ban chan is tasty and service is good. There is also another Korean restaurant in Taman Desa, but for those who do not like queuing, this is equally as good.
Porto Romano
mimid3vils posted www.choiyen.com 419 ReviewsThis place definitely warrants a second and even third visit to further their menu. A place for rustic and hearty Mediterranean cuisines!
Stadt German Cuisine & Bistro
German themed restaurant with a cozy ambience and relaxed atmosphere. Tasty Food, Variety In Choice and Reasonable Price. Great place for authentic german cuisine, imported beers and get-together for famiies and groups.
CCFoodTravel posted ccfoodtravel.com 498 ReviewsThe menu here at STADT is massive, and we only shared one Pork Knuckle because it was the Hefe and Dunkel that we came for really ;) We will definitely be back to try the other items.
Gobo Chit Chat
posted theyumlist.netReasons to visit: The amazing variety and quality of local cuisine is tough to beat. Freshly made roti and biryani is also a real bonus. And you can’t go wrong with all that free flow dessert and ice cream. Running from May 26 to June 24, Gobo Chit Chat’s Citarasa Santapan buffet dinner will be the perfect antidote after a day of fasting. And priced at RM125 net per adult for the first two weeks and RM135 net per adult for the last two weeks, it’s great value for how happy you’ll make your stomach. (And here’s a free tip: for every group of six persons, one person eats for nothing!)
Teow Chow Seafood Restaurant
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsOverall, we were extremely pleased with the food and we will definitely return again in the near future for another seafood feast.
Fisherman's Cove
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsIn total, the bill cost us RM221 but because there’s a 15% OffPeak discount, we only needed to pay RM187.85. That savings of almost RM30 is definitely worth the 3 minutes time I used to make a booking with OffPeak.
Backofen
Backofen is a German Bakery Nothing to shout about, but I rather like the German austerity of the place.
mimid3vils posted www.choiyen.com 419 ReviewsIf you are looking for a restaurant serve decent food with affordable price tag, this place definitely would do you fine.
Santai Restaurant and Café
In the year 2000, they opened their first restaurant in Taman Tun Dr Ismail serving Malay-Thai food using cooks from Pattaya, Thailand. Since then they have opened two more outlets, both at Tesco (at Mutiara Damansara in 2005 and at Ampang in 2006). The TTDI restaurant is usually packed during lunch and dinner so go there early if you are not prepared to wait.
Restoran De Maw
posted www.placesandfoods.comThe lunch didn’t disappoint us as expected. The food in De Maw Restaurant is still good and the quality is still maintained. Please take note that the waiting is long when the restaurant is packed but you can wait with a pot of hot Chinese tea. We heard many people complained about how pricey the food is in De Maw Restaurant but when you look at their menu, it is not that bad at all. In fact, we felt it is cheaper than most restaurants in the mall now. Like we mentioned earlier, please book your table in advance or take the risk if you plan to walk in. De Maw Restaurant is always top on our list and highly recommended.
Monte's Restaurant And Bar
Monte is located in a secluded corner, Level 1 of BSC.
summerkid posted www.malaysianflavours.com 568 ReviewsIt is a spacious restaurant, welcoming diners with modern, cutting edge design, comfortable for casual dining.
Espressamente ILLY
Nice ambiance, free wi-fi and convenience - yes but definitely not gourmet coffee.
ojsiew posted ojsiew.blogspot.com 633 ReviewsI personally like the ambience @ Espressamente Illy, as it gives you peace!
House of Frankfurt Restaurant
samantha sum posted tummyparadiseland.wordpress.com 35 ReviewsExceptionalGrilled pork knuckle – Bit over fry. The texture kinda hard inside as well. The taste is good. I like it. Especially when it mixed with the sour traditional side dish. It make the knuckle noot too meaty. Suprisingly i just forgotten about the pork texture
Luna Bar
Must admit that the ambiance is undeniably sophisticated and breath-taking. Located on the very top floor (floor 33) at the Pacific Regency Hotel suites, it has one of the most strategic spot for the patrons to get pleasure in the scenic views of other tall skyscrapers and brightly lighted up edifices. KL tower and the Petronas Twin Towers can't be missed out.
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsExceptionalIt was an awesome experience at Luna Bar. We really enjoyed the most of it. In my opinion, if you are there for a catching up session, you better get a window sitting because it is very hard to chat when is beside the pool especially the background music is blasting at the highest level. Apart of that, do not try their wines. Very limited and not many good choices to choose from. Lastly, check the weather before you dropping by because if is raining, you going to spoil the whole night. Oh ya...I almost forgot. They should have a service bell on each table because very hard to get the waiter and waitress attention under the loud noise environment.
