28 Fireplace Cafe
posted eatwhateatwhere.blogspot.comThis is a great cafe and fast becoming one of my favourites in this part of town (that's closer to home). Their exciting version 4.0 menu is certainly on the right track with these add-on hot dishes to their menu of mostly pastas, gourmet sandwiches and salads. The three dishes that we tried will be great additions to their menu when it's finalised. I certainly hope the salmon fillet and zucchini and corn fritters make it on the menu permanently as I'd love to have them again. After two visits, I'm absolutely certain that there'll be a third.....and a fourth...and a....! Well, I've been here for dinner and after-dinner snacks, it's time I come when the sun is up...for some morning brekkies! ^_~

posted eatwhateatwhere.blogspot.comWhat can I say? Food was flawless, service was impeccable and I loved every bit of it. This place is heaven-sent for meat worshippers be it beef, lamb or chicken (with some seafood options). They were all stunningly prepared and highly succulent although if I had to pick one, it'd be beef.....definitely. It certainly won't be a mis-steak to choose this place the next time you're craving for just a hunk, a hunk of 'burning meat'! ;D It's all about M-E-A-T and G-R-E-E-D here. A place worthy of repeated visits, for sure ^.^

posted www.choiyen.com 419 ReviewsVerdict: The Lu Rou Fan was a huge let down because it was entirely different from what I had envisioned it to be. Other food we’ve tried was just OK and definitely did not manage to convince for a revisit anytime soon.

Flingstones Cafe
posted eatwhateatwhere.blogspot.comI'm glad they've kept up with the taste of the food (the Big Bang Breakfast is still banging) as the place still delivers for us in that respect although there were a couple of dishes (with increased prices) that came with some minor 'enhancements' which I wasn't exactly fond of and weren't necessarily for the better unfortunately (in my opinion). I guess we can't run away from price hikes as things are getting more expensive by the day. Overall, the prices here have increased by about 10% - 20% since my last visit. A consolation, at least, is that this place continues to not charge the 10% + 6% although, if you look at it from another angle, the 16% is now factored into the increased prices already! :P

posted www.snowman1314.comThere are 3 kinds of High-Tea set, Patisserie, Desserts, and Savoury Selection. Since we decide to have our dinner in a while soon, that's why we decide to just order a small high-tea set. Overall taste was not too bad, I especially love the escargot which is so yummy without any stinky taste at all. My first time eat it as well! As for the Crab, Avocado and Lemon Zest Salad was a refreshing and appetizing combination too
Eatomo Food Co

posted muntalksfood.blogspot.comExplanation from wiki online: "Poke (Hawaiian for "to section" or "to slice or cut") is a raw fish salad served as an appetizer in Hawaiian cuisine, and sometimes as a main course". In recent years, some restaurants in USA have started making poke bowls which includes rice or some other healthy options like quinoa or cous cous and the trend has reached here. In the poke bowl above, there are tiny cubes of raw salmon marinated in a slightly spicy sauce, slices of cucumbers, guacamole, calrose rice, furikake, bits of seaweeds, sesame seeds, ebiko mixed with some sort of vinegar so it is very flavourful with lots of different tastes going on at the same time.

Poppo Kanteen - Pandan Indah
Signature Poppo nasi lemak, authentic recipes, pure full flavoured drinks, over 200 options to choose from making #PoppoKanteen the #NasiSoLemak place!
posted eatwhateatwhere.blogspot.comFor nasi lemak lovers, this is the place for you as you have a vast choice of having it with either (let me take a deep breath first)....chicken rendang, chicken curry, ayam masak merah, ayam masak kicap, ayam goreng berempah, mutton curry, beef rendang, beef stomach, oxtail rendang, ikan kembong sambal or ikan kembong masah merah...phew! :P The food showcased here is just a fraction of what they have on offer as the menu is so extensive. I can't explain it but once I've had a plate of their average tasting nasi lemak, I have this feeling that I won't want to eat it again for months! @_@ Though their nasi lemak is their signature dish, it was the mee siam that I enjoyed most. None of the snacks I had so far (including the cendol) left an impression. If I had to choose one, it'd probably be the roti boom. And best to stay away from the drinks unless you want to be in a diabetic coma! The upside....portions and price! ^_* Portions are very generous and will appeal to the bigger-eaters with many of the main dishes costing under RM10. If your tastebuds are easily satisfied, then make a beeline for this place as it'll certainly fill your stomachs to the brim! :)

posted www.broughtup2share.com 450 ReviewsA Bento box is a handy solution to the standard rectangular lunchbox. The secure lid opens to reveal a compartment style interior where different foods can be placed in different sections of the box. These compartments are just big enough so that you do not need to overfill one type of food. Hence, a more complete balanced meal is obtained in one Bento box. Since the amount is fixed before lunch time, we don’t have to over eat even though we are hungry. Balanced diet and controlled portion, how cool is that? For those shopping or working in KL city, do you know that you can now have a balanced and fulfilling Japanese bento meal at ISETAN THE JAPAN STORE for only RM15?
