Explanation from wiki online: "Poke (Hawaiian for "to section" or "to slice or cut") is a raw fish salad served as an appetizer in Hawaiian cuisine, and sometimes as a main course".
In recent years, some restaurants in USA have started making poke bowls which includes rice or some other healthy options like quinoa or cous cous and the trend has reached here.
In the poke bowl above, there are tiny cubes of raw salmon marinated in a slightly spicy sauce, slices of cucumbers, guacamole, calrose rice, furikake, bits of seaweeds, sesame seeds, ebiko mixed with some sort of vinegar so it is very flavourful with lots of different tastes going on at the same time.

Anyone up for something more wholesome or suitable for solo dining can go for udon or rice bowls. Gyudon + Onsen Tamago (RM 17.90) uses prime Australian beef slices but I don’t think it should be the reason to visit. Even the usually appealing Salmon Ikura Don (RM 23.90) were underpinned by excellent cut of sashimi earlier.

We loved it as much as we did the first time although prices (depending on what you order) may not seem that casual due to the smallish portions. Great for small eaters who can probably get away with spending just under RM100 per person. Expect to fork out more than RM100 per person in order to fully satisfy a bigger eater.
Since I'm fine with smaller portions, this place still delivers for us in terms of freshness and taste. I'm absolutely certain I'll be returning for more! ^o^

The ambience and decor here is unlike the type of Japanese restaurants you'd usually encounter, so come here solely for the freshness of the food.
Your best bets here might be the poke bowls....and the freshness of their seafood. Prices seem reasonable but portions can be a little small, so that will bump up your bill as you'll need to order more. Great for small-eaters who want to sample more dishes but bigger eaters might need 3 or more dishes to be fully satisfied. But quality (and freshness) is undeniable.
