Sanoook Pavilion
posted eatwhateatwhere.blogspot.comThe majority of the menu leans towards Thai specialities with Japanese offerings making up a small part of the menu only. The few that I tried, I have to say the Thai dishes made a more positive impact. The food I've managed to try here is average at best (though there's still plenty to try as the menu is quite extensive). Prices may be a little on the high side (for both types of cuisine, especially the desserts) but some of the Thai dishes do come in generous portion-sizes. I'm not sure if I'm convinced to order from the Japanese section of the menu again since they failed to nail the salmon skewer which I thought is one of the easiest things to execute. Managed by the fine folks of Chakri (of which I had the pleasure of dining before), I think the Thai dishes here are still worth checking out as they certainly won't be as expensive as Chakri. Just don't go in with too high an expectation and you should come off satisfied.

Strawberry is my all-time favorite whether it’s fruit, ice-cream, cookies or perfume. I just love strawberry. Hahahah!! It is a perfect drink to have while waiting for my family to finish their shopping. Iced Flavored Strawberry Latte @ RM 13.68

Dining Room
posted www.what2seeonline.com 437 ReviewsPriced at RM328nett per person, with additional RM80 for wine pairing, the meal by Chef Johnson and Chef Tor with flavors built with local and imported ingredients working in unison was worth the price. We loved the exciting culinary experience, attentive service with detailed explanation of the dishes, and not to mention, the choice of plates and cutlery.
Cafe Ame Soeur
posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsOverall, the owner splashed a lot of money and hard work to decorate the whole cafe to a unique style which we have to give extra credit on that. All they need to work on is their quality of their food to make sure this cafe to continue to get return customers instead of new customers. The only worthwhile for now is their drink which is fairly acceptable even though it is a little pricey. That's the tips for their astonishing design.

posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsJust to be clear, I am not recommending this particular stall. This post is just a general introduction to one of the food which I feel deserves more attention in Penang. Don’t get me wrong though, the noodle was alright but I had better ones on the island side.
Kek Seng Coffeeshop
Many people will agree that Kek Seng is the best place for ice kacang with its signature homemade colorful agar-agar jelly and durian ice cream besides other toppings of red bean and jagung (creamy corn).
posted deliciouslogy.blogspot.comThe popiah is the best I've tasted in Penang - tasty with a good balance of fillings. The chilli paste actually makes a presence so there's an oomph to the popiah! I'm not used to the soggy-ness of the popiah but the taste and texture was good enough for me to completely disregard it.
Shihlin Taiwan Street Snacks - Ipoh Parade
posted sakthi-life.blogspot.comIt took about 10-15 minutes to get my order. What I love about their XXL Crispy Chicken is it will be freshly prepared once you order and it will be always served piping hot. Freshly fried chicken is brushed with salted egg sauce on the both sides before pack it in the paper bag. Additional paper bag is charged at RM 0.30 each. It's simply delicious. It has a rich salted egg taste in it. Delicious!! Salted Egg Crispy Chicken @ RM 9.90
