Hakata Ippudo 一風堂
A heavy dish, in my opinion, as the cheese and mentaiko takes on a very heavy flavour that makes up the Cheese Mentaiko Gyoza.

Tykoh Inagiku
This fine dining Japanese restaurant situated in Menara Kuan Seng which is just next to Starhill Gallery. This is really the best Japanese restaurant in KL. They provide fresh ingredients and mostly are aired from Japan. This place is definitely restaurant for authentic Japanese cuisine. The present...ation of dishes was really good and their service was speedy and attentive. The price was reasonable and the quality of the food was excellent. Tykoh Inagiku has since refurbished and the place looks spanking new. It is extremely modern, but we are happy to report that the Japanese is still of excellent quality..good old fashion Japanese cuisine at its best.

Kampachi
The name "Kampachi" is not an unfamiliar name to most of those people who would love Japanese cuisine.
In the words of Chiharu Yabe, General Manager of Kampachi Restaurants, “this is a great way to experience different cultures of Japanese food and the Japanese are so passionate about food, they practise kuidaore – eat till you drop!” That sounds very Malaysian to me, too!

posted 8 years ago goodyfoodies.blogspot.com 33 ReviewsHubby ordered the Sizzling Black Pepper Yakiniku Gozen (RM39.90), which comes with sizzling black pepper beef, salmon sashimi, chawanmushi, appetizer, miso soup, rice and fruit. After seeing my order, I concluded that Hubby's set meal is good value for money. The sizzling beef was pretty... tasty and came in quite a big portion. Even his salmon sashimi came in 4 thick slices. read more

Midori Japanese Steamboat & Buffet Restaurant
BadWhy they are that bad?? Their food has not much of varieties like Jogoya There are flies on their Sashimi!! Foods are cold and not delicious You are advised to choose food that they will cook for you on the spot. Other than that, do not take them because you will feel like you are eatin...g a leftover food. Apart of the coconut drink and the Haagen Dazs ice cream, nothing in the restaurant that will make us to eat again. Service are bad. The waitress/waiter talking to each other all the time and ignoring you. You can imagine this if you have been to Shogun Japanese Buffet Restaurant. Just imagine it is worse than Shogun with the price like Jogoya. read more

Hokkaido Ramen Santouka
This place is definitely the real deal, and for the prices we would say that this place is absolutely a MUST TRY. The only thing they could do to achieve perfection would be to find a way to remove the “yellow mee” taste (which normally comes from processed noodles) that gives a slight i...mperfection to the broth. Nevertheless the gNOMes will definitely pay a second visit and more. read more

Sukiya
GoodYou can have unlimited meat supply and also choice of your soup (4 types of soup all together). The ingredients may not be much choices but it was healthy with nearly 70% are vegetable ingredients. Besides Steamboat, you can enjoy sushi prepped by the Chef.
