This is a great place to dine in, whether it be for the fabled Vietnamese coffee, or just to have a taste of Hanoi. This place boasts mainly Hanoi styled food. It’s more than just Banh Mi, and the other dishes do equally as well, if not at times better than the Banh Mi! While you’re at it, do get the drinks as well.

This is actually one of our favorite restaurants so far. They serve really great food , and even better coffee that really just hits the spot. True to its name, the pie is good here! The Musang King tag adds a few $$ to the pie, but it is worth trying and going for once in a while. After all, it’s Musang King eh? Mains are rather decent, good to grab a bite if you are too hungry waiting for your company to arrive.

Oddly enough, the winner for the night was the duck pasta. Hearing the name, one would’ve expected a little more of lamb or mutton in the menu. However only 2 lamb dishes or so were found. Perhaps improvement in the consistency of their meat and seasoning would make things better.

This place gets all the marks for excellent customer service. Even on a busy festive day they apologized profusely to us for not being able to serve us better, and even threw in a discount as well! Taste-wise, just excellent. Perhaps the food might have been a little on the salty side, but the gNOMes were too busy licking their fingers for it to matter. Price-wise, surprisingly reasonable for a seafood place. The gNOMes will definitely be back again! This time, hopefully they will go easy on the salt!

Both gNOMes did not experience it during our dining experience, we in fact felt that the customer service was good. Overall this would be a Boat Noodle shop for those who crave some pork in it, of course with a little more of the side dishes and the decor adding to the whole traditional recipe feel. Definitely one to look out for should one stop by Seapark. True to their name, they do well in terms of porkiness. All porky goodness reasonably priced below RM5. All You Can M-eat Sunday BBQ Brunch is indeed a very interesting and exciting concept. Meat lovers can relish and feed their carnivorous appetite with free flow of lamb and beef steaks. However, gNOMe 2 personally feels that Las Vacas can up their game by bringing in more variety of meats and sides so that patrons may feel that its worth every penny spent. The Grumpy Cyclist has a philosophy of keeping things simple and doing the simple things well, and that they do, especially evident when you see the number of families that stop by to get their chow. The winner of the day was the Tom Yum Carbonara Spaghetti, but the others fared well too. The gNOMes get the feeling that TableTalk is gearing towards catering for the Malaysian palate. However while they do excel at many things, the gNOMes feel that TableTalk should also take care as not to abandon their identity as a place that serves great western meals. A good and underrated restaurant that somehow due to public perception and generation gap has not quite managed to replicate their Singaporean successes. Give it a try, and rediscover home cooking. Tasting the food at Soup Restaurant, the gNOMes realized just how frighteningly high the average Malaysian salt intake is. Definitely an interesting one to look out for. They are still new and in the midst of experimentation. Perhaps after gauging the local flavors they will be looking to bring in different variants of cheese. As for the question of whether it is worth paying for cheese sandwiches, we guess it is only fair for us to reserve that judgment after trying more! Overall the winner for the day was the Ayam Percik, which brought a Malaysian taste to the whole variety. The Chunky Steak was equally yummy, with bits of beef overflowing with gravy.
