Foodie Review
Yut Kee Kopitiam 鎰記茶餐室
Yut Kee is one of the grand old lady of the Kuala Lumpur kopitiam scene having been established since 1928. Today it's being run by the third generation of the family.
d_luaz postedSuperbSometimes I felt this place might be too old and too famous to pass, so I would still drop by just to have a feel of old coffeeshop. Chicken Chop is still decent, Robi Babi is intriguing, and didn't get to try the Roasted Pork Special yet.
Seng Kee Restaurant 唐人街胜记
The restaurant previously do space sharing with Nam Heong Chicken Rice at night. Now they operates in an air-conditioned shoplot. At 3am, Seng Kee was packed with customers, no wonder they are willing to open until so late.
d_luaz posted hazelnutlife.blogspot.comThe texture is smooth and Q as the raw egg are mixed together and cover the first layer of the rice noodles. It can just slipped through the chopsticks.
Foh San Dim Sum 富山茶楼
The ever famous Foh San dim sum is a famous haunt by tourists for some scrumptious and variety of dim sum. A little advise here, either go there as early as 7 am or as late as 11 am. Its hard to get a table during peak hour, and after you get seated bring your bill to the cart and take your own dim sum as the waitress are too busy to entertain you.

Ciccio Pasticcio Bar & Pizzeria
This place serves wood fire pizza and wide variety of bruschettas. You can watch the chef whip your pizza at the bar counter and the wood fire oven is just next to the bar.
d_luaz postedBadDine here about a year ago, tried the Ravioli and Pizza; the problem is the price is high (expected for Changkat Bukit Bintang area), but the food is "normal" at best.
Restoran Kin Kin 建记辣椒板面
A mound of thick round noodles topped with ikan bilis, chopped scallion, a wee bit of table sugar, pork sliced and chopped, and tiny cubes of cracklin', all crowned by a snow-white poached egg. Kin Kin's pan mee delivers on its promise -- ultra chewy noodles and a la jiao light on oil and heavy on slow-roasted chili flavor that elicits a sharp tingle, rather than the sort of tongue-searing burn that might overpower the dish's other tasty ingredients.
d_luaz posted noshameadventures.blogspot.comDon't expect great service at Kin Kin. Focus on the food. It's that good. Why else would we go twice on 2 separate days?
Kang Guan Seafood Restaurant 港源海鲜楼
d_luaz posted nicolesmirror.blogspot.comOverall, my food was not up to expectation. The only food that I enjoyed was the assam fish. They have very limited style of cooking. The pricing is reasonable.
Rosli Mee Rebus
The stall is famous for its Mi Rebus and run by a pair of elderly couple. Pakcik does all the cooking, whilst his wife will add on the condiments and sauce.
d_luaz posted www.kisahnye.comTauhu Goreng dia...Kuah kacang dia, Masya Allah, sedap gila beb. RATE 4.4/5
Dragon-i
The restaurant is famous for its 'xiao long bao', noodles and other 'small eats' ('siu sek'). All of them look so adorable and deserves a thumbs up
d_luaz postedBadEaten here more than 5 years ago, not particularly impressed with the quality of the food given the price :(
Imbi Market
There is a famous stall in the Imbi market serving hainanese tea and toast bread with all the red tables.
d_luaz postedExceptionalLove the variety, quality and affordability of the food here, and being beside a market added a certain charm to it. My favorite is the Hainan Tea, Wantan Mee and Popiah :)

New Beggar's Delicious Restaurant 新家乡美味叫化鸡
The restaurant's signature dish is Beggar's Chicken which is cooked with chinese herbs.
d_luaz posted lxyummytummy.blogspot.comThe chicken was superb. It was a free range chicken. This bird is stuff with lots of Chinese herbs (there was yuk chok, kei chi, dong guai, yong sum sou, n a few more which im not sure what it is). It was cooked in few layers of tin foil and the soup was the key essences to it. The chicken meat was tender, the smell of the dish was amazing the minute the foil was opened.
Sun May Hiong Satay House 新味香沙爹屋
For those who have great passion in pork liver and pork intestine (satay style), this is the stall that you can't miss! The specialty of this satay stall is its peanut sauce and mix with some pineapple and in turn create a sour n spicy taste! At this stall, you dont have to order how many stick you want as they will keep on "refilling".
d_luaz posted lurvethelife.blogspot.comThere are both pork and chicken satay. It costs about RM0.70 each. I like the pork one better because of its crispiness whilst the chicken was like, quite normal.
Dae Sa Kwan Korean BBQ Restaurant 大使馆韩式烧烤料理
Traditional korean dining, it normally entails sitting on the floor and eating off a small table
d_luaz posted joysan1214forever.blogspot.comOverall the food does not taste spicy as it seen!! The price is slightly higher than Dao rea. Their BBQ meat taste pure maybe we did not order spicy one Do try their wine meat it taste good!!
The Lotus Family Restaurant (Gasing) Sdn Bhd
The restaurant also known as banana leaf rice because most of the food is served on a piece of banana leaf. Really good curry, full of flavour (unlike many outlets which now serve watered down curries!), and tender pieces of chicken ... nice fluffy Roti Canai as well. The Prime Minister (past and present) has been spotted having breakfast here numerous times ... yes, its a celebrity hotspot as well!
d_luaz posted foodmates80.blogspot.comIt has become a celebrity hotspot as well enjoyed by Past and Present ministers as their favourite morning tea's. The Ambience of the restaurant is good, clean and is air-conditioned with valued for money.
Le Pollidor Cafe
d_luaz postedSuperbNice ambient and comfy, with colourful deco and big glass windows. Good place to relax, and perfect for those who "work from cafe". Food is not bad as well, upper cafe range :)
