Restaurants in Taman Kota Laksamana – 10 Restaurants
Run by a Chinese – Pakistani couple it seems, so the culinary roots are very close to it’s origin run the Chinese way. The signage at the shop tells some talks about the shop’s history. Starting first with Tandori and Naan, then evolving to some Indian-Mamak items such roti chanai and now Bombay side dishes.

The first try of the naan was inevitably superb and thumbs-up for the crispy crust of it. i would like to give a try for its famous tandoori in future.
For those who have great passion in pork liver and pork intestine (satay style), this is the stall that you can't miss! The specialty of this satay stall is its peanut sauce and mix with some pineapple and in turn create a sour n spicy taste! At this stall, you dont have to order how many stick you want as they will keep on "refilling".

Everytime without fail, I must have my quick fix of "Pork Satay" whenever I'm in Malacca! Sun May Hiong Satay House @ Malacca! My 2nd favourite place to be. 1st is Restaurant Xiang Ji (because near Jonker Street).
Worst customer service in the entire universe. The waitress working there is possibly the rudest human being I have ever come across in my 23 years of existence. Upon placing our order, my mother said, ever so politely, "Can we please not have any meat in the omelette?", to which this waitress replied "AUNTYYYYYY. YOU THINK YOURSELF LA, EGG GOT MEAT WAN NOT?" This, unfortunately, was not the only rude encounter we had. When we tried ordering our drinks, fair enough there were 7 of us. She said very loudly "CAN DRINKS AH? TAKE YOURSELF." She then pointed at the fridge as she walked away. The food took over an hour to arrive. There were only 5 tables there. Even then, it was not well worth the wait.. not even one bit. All in all, a very disappointing visit to this restaurant that has been a family favourite for generations. Perhaps a new waitress (ie:someone more friendly and more accustomed to customer service) could turn this place around.
