Tried the Hainanese Chicken Chop and the Roti Babi because they're famous for these.
NOTHING SPECTACULAR. The Hainanese Chicken Chop looks like something they just spoldged on the plate and splash the sauce on it before they charged you an arm and a leg for it. The Roti Babi was full of oil and tasted very bland. No air-conditioning, the place is clean but feels like a pig stable because of the crowds. Only people with more money than sense (or doesn't enjoy good food) will keep coming back here for the bland food.
However the kaya swiss rolls are highly recommended.

Tried this place twice because, despite the rave reviews given to it by almost every KL food blogger, I found the food pretty bland and not very good at all.

Of course we enjoyed having the cakes and swiss rolls at home, at our comfort!

Perhaps pork isn't the best way to kickstart a Sunday as a substitute for the usual brunch options. A day filled with food, caffeine and GPS navigation.

Overall Rating: 8/10. The crowd of hungry onlookers kept on coming while we were busy feeding off our plates. After so many years, I still don't quite get the hype about the place - the long wait and the okay only dishes with a few standouts.

Sometimes I felt this place might be too old and too famous to pass, so I would still drop by just to have a feel of old coffeeshop. Chicken Chop is still decent, Robi Babi is intriguing, and didn't get to try the Roasted Pork Special yet.
