The first time we came to Dian Huo Xin Wo, it was still operating at their old location in SS4. I remember I was hooked on their crustacean roe soup which led me to rank them as one of my favorite steamboat restaurants in PJ.
A few months later, they shifted to SS6. We dropped by for dinner recently but unfortunately, we found that not only the price had gone up, the quality had declined as well.

Dian Huo Xin Wo (点火心窝) is no stranger to those traveling on the LDP highway, passing by Kelana Jaya area. This simple yet 'filled with surprises' steamboat restaurant is opened by 4 business partners 1 1/2 years ago, with the soft launch that took place in September 2013.

Overall Rating: 8/10. otwithstanding, I was told that this restaurant used to serve some pretty amazing dim sum variants - bring it back for the weekends please! Withal, if you're looking for a commendable steamboat restaurant in PJ, this would be perfect for you. I will definitely be back.

Overall this is a good place to have breakfast should one want a simple meal of dim sum in the morning, or afternoon. Try some of the more uncommon flavors there, you might be pleasantly surprised. We hear the steamboat is even more well-received. The gNOMes shall be back again at night for sure!
