Chinese Restaurants in Kuala Lumpur: bangsar

Nam Chuan Coffee Shop 南泉茶餐室
... Lorong Ara Kiri,Lucky Garden, Bangsar,59100 Kuala Lumpur, Cheap
The Sarawak laksa served here is a family recipe, and that many of her ingredients are flown in from Sarawak. I believe this laksa is the coconut-less variety, but what make it special is the flavour which is fragrant yet isn't too hot. The garnishing done by this Aunty is truly special, 'hotel quality'
A perfect start to a Sunday morning should be a hearty breakfast; coupled with a cup of really good coffee or tea, and lots of natural sun to perk the mood up.

The Ming Room is possibly one of the finest chinese restaurants in Kuala Lumpur, and gives a 'fine dining' experience outside of the usual hotel chinese restaurants
BadBeen here on weekday at 1.20pm and wait for 18 mins only have someone help us to placed an order. Is a guy wearing coat, I think he is captain. He did not even repeat our order and just take the order bill away. 2 of us ordered 4 dim sum and 1 roast pork. Wait for another an hour which ...is about 2.40pm, and many attempts of chasing with the waiter/waitress, only been told that the roast port is finish, and served us 2 dim sum. At around 3.00pm which is more than 1 and half hour since we reach, there are still 2 dim sum have not even come out. Call again the waiter, waitress, and waitress but their reaction seem like already use to customer chasing and waiting. Not even any apology given, which the coffee shop service is much more better than here. We understand it need time to served the crowd but excused me..we only ordered DIM SUM, which suppose to serve faster than the order to cook dishes. We did not faced this kind of service in The Garden outlet. No doubt the food here is good, but with this kind or lousy service, we will definitely not come again. read more

It has very dark coloured chinese furnitures and white brick wall paired with dimmed lightings. I loved it. It gives traditional chinese dining a fresh new look. The overall setting gives it a fine dining ambiance.

Overall I had mixed feelings about the Dim Sum served at House of Tang. Some were good such as the Sizzling Marinated Meat Bun, Steam Shrimp Dumpling and the Stir-Fried Turnip Cake.

Bangsar Venicia is a cosy place to enjoy quality seafood and other home-cooked dishes. There have 2 branches: Selayang and Bukit Bandaraya(near Bangsar Shopping Centre), both branches located inside condominium, so just tell the guard you are going to restaurant, and they will let you in.
Service is a bit slow but bearable especially for good food.

Little Taiwan
Tang Tang Noodle, Braised Beef Noodles, Unit LGF-3A, LG Floor, Menara UOA Bangsar, No. 5, Jalan Bangsar Utama 1, 59200 Kuala Lumpur. , Tang Tang Noodle (RM9.90), Braised Beef Noodles (RM13.90),
BadI hate Little Taiwan at Menara UOA BANGSAR. Why?? I was here with my husband today - 2 persons only & i decided to sit at the big table inside the air con room since all the smaller tables were not available. The waiters one by one came and asking..how many persons? I said two.. th...en they said if two persons only, cannot sit here.. i just keep quiet. I was comfortably seating there after one of them said its ok for me to sit there. Then, they came again and tell me to sit at the smaller table once their customer left their restaurant. So, i just moved there. Then i saw 2 ladies stepped in & sit at the table where i was seated earlier, they never said anything but treated them well!!.. After that i saw another 2 ladies came in and sit at another big table, yet they never asking them to move at a smaller table even few of the smaller tables were emptied by then! What the heck!!!!!!!!! This would be the first and the last time i ever step my foot there! THEY have to respect their customers regardless whether sexy ladies or just an ordinary people. Wasting my time only traveling down here, coz i thought i would have a good time dining here this afternoon.. such a waste of time! SO, i would rate 'unlike' to this little taiwan! Thumbs down to this restaurant. read more
