Oscar Coffee & Food
posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsOverall it was a pleasant experience and we enjoyed the Nitro Coffee and sashimi more than anything else. A word of warning though, avoid sitting outside the restaurant as the area seems to be having a serious issue with flies. To be fair it’s not the restaurant’s fault – I think it affects everyone who stays here.
Wild Honey
The most beautiful breakfasts all day, everyday.
posted www.malaysianflavours.com 568 ReviewsWild Honey, the cafe that serves one of the best brunch in Singapore has finally marked their first oversea outlet in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur last year. We’ve heard a lot of positive reviews about their main branches in Singapore Mandarin Gallery and Scotts Square but yet to try it out. Hence we are pretty glad to be able to get a taste of their food in Malaysia now
KG Korean Charcoal BBQ
posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsOverall it was an enjoyable dinner and we felt our money was well spent here. As long as you set your expectations straight I don’t think you’d go home disappointed. After all, KG is an ‘eat all you can’ restaurant so you can’t expect the quality of the food to be fantastic. There are a couple of pros to pick KG over Kilo Grill such as no time limit, more food choices and more family/group dining friendly due to more space. Not to mention the ventilation here is much better as well so your clothes won’t smell as bad later.

Kinme Sashimi & Grill Bar
posted www.voneats.comLunch is pretty good deal - no wonder it's so packed! I would definitely recommend for dinner - it's affordable and portions are amazing! Clearly, we could not finish our food. The sashimi itself filled us up so we had to takeaway the Yakiniku Don which is still super good even after reheating it at home!
Merrow Pasta
posted www.chasingfooddreams.comSome hits and some misses here but Merrow Pasta still scores brownie points for making their own fresh pasta daily. The highlight of the pasta for me was definitely that awesome Lasagna and Con Salsa Al Nero. Merrow Pasta’s ambiance is also great for parties and gathering.
Kid Thung Noodle & Thai Street Food
posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsOverall, I see a good potential in Kid Thung. So I hope they will fix the food presentation and serving size because the menu photos are misleading. Above all, the milk tea must be fixed because it’s the one thing they could not afford to get wrong.
Yellow Brick Road
posted www.voneats.comPeter Pandan (RM23) The pancakes are very fluffy, the American style, topped with a scoop of ice cream, some local fruits and syrup. I love pancakes especially fluffy ones - this plate certainly did not fail.
Kedai Kopi Kong Heng 光兴茶室
Choi postedBadKong Heng restaurant is my favourite visit every time I am at Ipoh. This changed one day wheny family arrived at the restaurant late at 3pm and many of the stalls were closing. The chicken rice stall owner welcome us and we ordered from him. Bad experience started when the chicken rice stall owner deliver the food and my wife questioning the price inconsistency. The chicken rice stall owner clarify the price and become agitated, started raising his voice and claimed that we unfairly accused him charging excessive. I have to calm him down! He keep on raising his voice on us for a minute. I did not choose to quarrel with him as I do not want to show bad example to my daughter. His chicken rice is okay but the very poor service and attitude toward customer make us stop visiting to Kong Heng again. Other stalls in the restaurant services are good by Malaysia standard. The chicken rice stall leave a very bad name to Kong Heng restaurant Ipoh. I do not think I am the first customer to get bad experience from him. I advise future customer not to question or argue with him in order to have peaceful meal.
Chir Chir Fusion Chicken Factory 치르치르
posted www.malaysianfoodie.com 997 ReviewsCrispy Fried Chicken, RM49.90 One of the signature dish is Chir Chir and this is a MUST to have. Available in 3 flavours – Original, Spicy and Garlicky. For those who are loving fried chicken or first timer, you can have the chicken change half portion of the chicken to spicy or garlicky with just a top- up of RM 7. As for the flavours, personally I love the Original flavours. Love how the crispy chicken is being deep fried. It is indeed the chicken comes awesomely good where the chicken are fresh, well marinated and the crust comes crispy too. Once a bite, you can get the moist and juicy taste of it.

The Jungle City Kitchen & Bar
posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsAs usual, food is my main focus so lets dive into that shall we? Before coming here, I kept my expectations low as not to avoid disappointment, if any. Unfortunately, we still walked away feeling dissatisfied with the food and the service.
The Pawn Room
1920s Shanghai’s fanciful spirit is back with a vengeance. Drawing inspiration from ancient pawn shop, The Pawn Room is a wonderland with an oriental twist bar. TPG team is thrilled to bring back the heyday of Party with vibrancy, excitement and colours.
posted theyumlist.netReasons to visit: From the menu, the Chinese Cinderella was unlike anything we’ve tasted before. From off-menu, Mr Darkside was everything you want in a drink, but the real winner was the Smokey Old Fashioned. Like everything at The Pawn Room, they do old fashioned (with a twist) so very well!
Yoogane Malaysia
posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsAll in all, we had a blast at Yoogane and there was never a dull moment throughout the meal because of the table side cooking. The pricing is reasonable considering the high quality of the ingredients and service provided. We would gladly return again since Yoogane is one of the more unique restaurants in 1 Utama.
