Personally, and most importantly, having fantastic servings of essential dim sum offerings would be a deal-ringer for me - the type of basic dim sum dishes that every table won't fail to order, siew mai, har gao, chee cheong fun, char siew pau, yu yun, lo mai kai etc.

THE Tan brothers have been churning out two goodies Ipoh seems to be associated with – soyabean milk and curd – since the early 1950s. Product and service quality have remain unchanged. You can either stop your vehicle in front of the stall, signal a little and the workers will deliver your orders. Or walk to the stall and get your drinks after a short wait.

A rustic square communal table placed in the middle of the café has plenty of magazines and books to while your time away as you watch our creative and hardworking kitchen crew prepare your meal. This set consists of the above fish rice, a glass of drink and dessert-of-the-day. We also add on a bowl of Revitalizing Herbal Soup at MYR8++ so the total is MYR32.80++ (MYR38.25 nett). The XO Sauce is very flavourful and a bit spicy. The fish does not taste like dory fish but I do not know what fish it is. The fried rice is firm but I prefer the rice to be softer.
