Drift Dining and Bar
Nestled away, In the heart of Kuala Lumpur and minutes walk from the city’s premier night life region is Drift Dining and Bar a modern Sydney styled restaurant and bar. Headed by Robert Gilliland with the help of Donna Freeman (virtual sommelier for master chef Australia) Ric Patterson (restaurant manager at the famous quay and marque formally Australia's number 1 restaurants) and heading the kitchen is Chef Angus Harrison having worked previously at top Sydney restaurants such as The Boathouse, Longrain and Jimmy Licks, he was Head Chef at Luke Mangan’s Salt Tapas Bali before joining the team at Drift Dining and Bar. There is a causal charm about the food service and atmosphere at Drift which brings the Sydney laid back attitude and attentive staff to Kuala Lumpur. The menu is printed daily and is classified as “Modern Australian” which means using the freshest produce to create dishes that are inspired by the large array of multi cultural influences found in Australia. Drift is so named to encourage people to drift in and out, drift through the wine list and menu and more importantly drift through conversations with friends at the bar or while eating. This is why all the food on the menu is designed to share creating conversation and interaction adding to its casual professional charm.

Restoran Makanan Sun Sea 山海茶餐室
posted www.taufulou.com 674 ReviewsWhen I saw this, I am all over the cloud, as the colour of soup, texture and ingredient definately a match back to Penang version especially with pig blood and cockles. Another best part is their chili paste. Indeed this is a perfect bowl of Kuantan Road Curry Mee. After mix it all, soup is pack with flavour from the chili paste, which is fragrant with mild spices and has a little hint of sweet end. Definitely one of a highly recommended best Penang Curry Mee Stall at OUG. Will be back!

posted eatwhateatwhere.blogspot.comAlthough there were obviously some hits and misses where the food was concerned, the 5-star dining experience overall made me willing to overlook some of its shortcomings. The Good 1. Fine dining menu at its most affordable. 2. Great aesthetic pleasure from the food plating and presentation. 3. Quality ingredients (for the price paid). 4. Lovely ambience. The Not-So-Good 1. Appetiser and entrees could be improved. 2. Finer balance between good and overly attentive service. 3. Better way to provide detailed descriptions of the dishes.
