A lot of positive feedbacks are given to their lauk pauk, nasi dagang and noodles too. We will definitely come back to give it a try, will be having a hard time to resist ourselves from ordering the nasi lemak again. Village Park is operated by a Chinese-Muslim husband-wife team. Service for food is fast. Iced Special White Coffee (RM2.50), Kedondong juice & sour plum (RM2.50), Nasi Dagang Set (RM5.40), Nasi Lemak Ayam Goreng (RM6.80),

Exceptional

Din Tai Fung

Cuisines Shanghai
Business Hour opened at 11am

People making the xiu long baos in the open kitchen look rather local and "amateur", after all this is a dish originating from Shanghai, so maybe a more foreign face could do the trick. Dishes are still unavailable but its pretty much a good alternative to Dragon I as they offer some different dishes and since both of them are in Mid Valley. Din Tai Fung serves “Siau Long Pau”, little dumplings filled with either pork, crab meat, shrimp or mushrooms and alittle brooth. The place was not to bad, food came quickly, taste was good, a little pricy, but worth it.

We are really surprise by the creativity to convert sautéed Xiao Long Bao into dessert, Xiao Lon Bao fill with Red Bean and Chocolate that has really nice combine flavor. Sweetness from Red Bean and bitter taste from Chocolate really make a good combination.

Business Hour Monday - Friday: 11.00 am - 12.00 am, Saturday - Sunday: 11.00 am - 1.00 pm

As mentioned in their tagline “Great Italian & Asian Cuisine”, you will be expecting a great range of pizzas, pastas, local delights and even mee goreng Izzi has been established since 2002. A famous restaurant chain in Indonesia with more than 7 outlets in Jakarta. Izzi Bukit Bintang is the first flagship restaurant outside Indonesia.

I would say the food (spaghetti, salad, pizza) is nice but not the dessert (cakes, strudels).

This place is good for their steamboat but not really for their side dishes.

We had a grand old time that night, we did. What’s more, when the bill came, the steamboat plus all the side dishes cost us only RM47 per head.

Restoran Hainan Curry Rice

Business Hour 5pm to 9pm

The Char Siew was lovely, not exactly BBQ but more like fried. The meat is lean yet it was still tender with a slight crisp. Hainan Char Siew (BBQ pork) is their best sellers.

The damage for two person, less than RM 20.00. (Rating : 4.0 out of 5.0).

Restaurant Bao Bao 你吃宝宝了吗?

Business Hour Mon - Fri : 11:00 am - 10:00 pm / Sat – Sun : 10:00 am - 10:00 pm

This restaurant is owned by and runs by a group of talented young people.

Exceptional

We came across this restaurant which Cat says (oddly enough) means “have you eaten at Bao Bao yet?” or something to that effect in Mandarin. Being an end lot, the restaurant has no wall on one side providing excellent ventilation. A lot of the times we demur from a few restaurants that were stifling and stuffy. With furnishings with wooden chairs and tables, you get an almost “school canteen” feel about the place. While we had no issues with the taste of the dishes we were eventually served with, we had problems with the blatant misrepresentation. What was touted as Fried Pork with Nan Lu Pan Mee in the end turned out to be normal Pan Mee with Barbequed Pork Belly (“Char Siu”), with no hint of fermented bean curd at all! Oh well, since it is a small unassuming and nondescript restaurant, we will take no further offence.

Very big servings for its dishes.

Most of us love this Chinese wine chicken soup we had eggs added into it and it was truly awesome. It also brought memories of confinement time for some.
