missyblurkit posted www.missyblurkit.com 266 ReviewsThe Steamed Nian Gao with Crispy Oat is by far one of the tastiest nian gao I have had. Its light in colour due to the type of sugar used.
China Treasures
The buffet (RM 33++ per person) is quite worth the money if dim sums are your thing and you can't get enough of them.
Foodie Queen postedBadThe worst dim sum restaurant I ever been to!! The prawns inside the dim sum is not fresh n sourish and most fking horrible experience was the service of the arrogant, rude and fat chinese man waiter who brought our order wrongly n blame it on us n kept argue that he is right! When I ask to speak to the manager even he is worse! Trying to protect his waiter n being rude to the customers! I told him the prawn n meat in the dim sum is sourish n rotten . He kept lying n giving excuse that its the sauce suppose to be sourish! We are foodies n he thinks we cannot differentiate what is spoilt dim sum??!! Worse of all he insist that we pay for it if we cannot finish the food! Wtf?? Expecting us to eat rotten stuffs n finish so many food when u multiply our order twice coz your waiter make a mistake ?? Summore dare to argue n fight with us insisting he is right even our whole table experience the same rotten food. So bloody arrogant n shitty attitude the chinese manager n waiter! I bet they never even study hospitality or customer service before!! Dono which kampung they are release from!!! We will never go there again!!! N will spread this everywhere in the social medias!! Super shitty experience n food!!!
Restoran Ban Lee Siang Satay Celup
One of the oldest and most original satay celup restaurant. Compared to lok lok which is dipping raw foods into hot water, this is dipping into hot peanut sauce. All the foods were stored in refrigerator to preserve the freshness. Be sure to go there early as the sauce will be recycled and recooked. If you go early, your sauce is fresh from the kitchen.
taufulou posted www.taufulou.com 674 ReviewsNevertheless, still one of a kind street food to go after and I have miss out this for the past few trips due to events that I am attending and could not fit onto the time.
Aun Kheng Lim Salted Chicken 宴琼林盐焗鸡
Ayam Garam Aun Kheng Lim. It was Ipoh’s famous salted chicken. Recommended by 8TV Ho Chak.

ojsiew posted ojsiew.blogspot.com 633 ReviewsFound that the soup is not 'as clear as' the one at Kedai Kopi Ban Leong Ean. Nevertheless, it is still far better than the ones served in certain places.
Big Tree Foot (大树脚) Roadside Hawker
Ipoh’s famous “Big Tree’s Foot” (called Tai Shu Keok in Cantonese) which located at Pasir Pinji with a friend. Basically, this place is kinda dusty and untidy as it’s located by the roadside. The hawkers erected some canopies probably due to some complaints by customers that leaves falling from above.
posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsMost of the yong tau fu we had were decent but not really outstanding. The only item that was special enough to be memorable was the ‘sar kot’ (stuffed turnip) – mainly because it was my first time having it, and we don’t get this in KL. But then again, I get comments saying there are plenty of other places that make tastier ‘sar kot’.
Restoran Kin Kin 建记辣椒板面
A mound of thick round noodles topped with ikan bilis, chopped scallion, a wee bit of table sugar, pork sliced and chopped, and tiny cubes of cracklin', all crowned by a snow-white poached egg. Kin Kin's pan mee delivers on its promise -- ultra chewy noodles and a la jiao light on oil and heavy on slow-roasted chili flavor that elicits a sharp tingle, rather than the sort of tongue-searing burn that might overpower the dish's other tasty ingredients.
luhinghoe postedExceptionalLee Kang Wang Why no one recommends Face To Face Noodle House they're literally the biggest pan mee chain in Msia Their chilli pan mee, pan mee soup and sawarak noodle are my favourite I think among the KL branch Face To Face Noodle House 面对面 (Ara Damansara) Will be the best among them I hope foodies out there and try so they might list it on this website Name: Face To Face Noodle House 面对面 (Ara Damansara) Address: D-G-29, Jalan PJU 1a/20b, Dataran Ara Damansara, 47301 Petaling Jaya, Selangor Phone: 03-7498 1069

Ong Cheng Huat Seafood 王清发海鲜
It's a popular place to dine out for its specialty dishes. More and more people visiting to this place after it appeared in Taste With Jason.
Motormouth posted www.j2kfm.com 552 ReviewsThe restaurant has this very similar set up to Sitiawan seafood restaurants; vast seating capacity with round tables that can fit an extended family comfortably, high ceiling to generate a sense of space and airiness (you definitely need the latter, as there is no air-conditioning here), and selection of simple Chinese cooking (only a few dishes available daily, I will go more into that later) served with a refreshing albeit slightly intoxicating coconut wine or toddy.
Restoran Boston Baru
Other than the famous butter mantis prawn and steamed lala with superior stock, Boston Baru is famous for their nestum mantis prawn and hokkien noodles as well.

This place is famous for their claypot mouse noodle ('nga pou lou shu fun')
Chee Keong Ee postedBadVery bad service attitude. Waited for 40 min, food still not serve yet. When check order with them, the lady boss speak in harsh way and expect us to wait for another 30. It's ridiculous with this type of service.
Restoran Lan Je 蘭姐清蒸非洲鱼
Lan Jie Steamed Fish can now be found at Kota Damansara now!
honeylemongirl posted honeylemongirl.com 13 ReviewsExceptionalThe fish is fresh as promised! And to my delight, there’s no “muddy” taste! I suspect that it’s the strong ginger essence that has been absorbed into the juicy flesh during the steaming and that definitely covers off whatever unpleasant after taste.
