I can hear them retort with a why can't I order another one... And there was no way on Earth that we were leaving the place without trying their coffee... smooth and just right for my liking.

They started from a humble Italian restaurant in Section 9 of Shah Alam and from there, they expanded to Jaya33 in 2007, Sunway Giza in 2009, Paradigm Mall in 2012 and one year later, here in Plaza33. They aim to bring to diners variations of modern fusion fare that blends Eastern and Western flavours, something that was evident in their extensive menu.

The photos she shared showed a place in a lot of pink and with a unique name, Flying Teapot. One night, we chose this cafe as our catch up venue. The main theme was, as you could assume from the name of the cafe, teapots. As such, the place was decorated with many teapot fixtures, such as teapot lampshades, teapot lighting, teapot telephone, teapot clock and teapot holders to name a few.

I should have asked for the toast to be wholemeal instead of white bread. Berry compote was delectable, I finished it all.

Their name travelled all the way from Melaka to KL. Friends who visit Melaka on a day trip would try their hardest to pack their famous mille crepe cakes in iced cooler bags.

We took a drive around town and saw this restaurant. We decided to give them a try. The exterior was done up to imitate a the front of a traditional Peranakan house, complete with a pair of paper lanterns hanging on both sides. Even the interior sported black and white photos tastefully displayed in wooden photo frames. Marble top tables were flanked by wooden chairs with rattan weaving.

The waitstaff who served us was probably a newbie, as she was quite unsure of the ingredients that made up the dishes we ordered. Otherwise, I really enjoyed the food we ordered and would not hesitate to recommend this place to all my health-freak family and friends.

Japanese buffet at its most extravagant, with the freshest of seafood, tempura, sashimi and even cooked-on-demand fare brought straight to your table. At a reasonable buffet price the atmosphere is casual, relaxed and elegant. Great place indeed; nice dining area with a wide range of seafood spread available; everything from fish to scallop to oysters to clams to Sashimi to crabs and lobsters! Jogoya is a famous japanese buffet chain from Taiwan. Unlike the likes of Saisaki in UOA2, Jogoya is meant to be more high class.

I heard about the wide selection of food and how the ice-cream served here is from Häagen-Dazs and New Zealand Natural. Mum and Dad were not too impressed when they visited, though. Same here, other than the wide selection of food, I was not too impressed with the quality of the food.
Nihon Kai Japanese Restaurant
