I am still happy with the exciting experience of different taste of pork belly. I just hope they will improve with the food grilling consistency, some tastes in the meat which is barely detectable and lastly to solve the oil splatter issue. Tamaruya 田丸屋
posted eatwhateatwhere.blogspot.comIf you're craving juicy yet good quality steaks, then this no-frills place for meat, cooked the Japanese way with simply just salt and black pepper, is definitely worth a visit. Although I won't go as far as to say that the steaks here are cheap since some of the wagyu beef can go as high as RM200, you can still find some very reasonably-priced and affordable Australian beef cuts for around RM25. So, go with what you think is within your budget. Besides a meat fest, there are plenty more food options here (like sushi, sashimi, tempura and bento) though I'll be more tempted by the lust of gorgeous meat more than anything else if I'm here again!

posted eatwhateatwhere.blogspot.comAlthough there were obviously some hits and misses where the food was concerned, the 5-star dining experience overall made me willing to overlook some of its shortcomings. The Good 1. Fine dining menu at its most affordable. 2. Great aesthetic pleasure from the food plating and presentation. 3. Quality ingredients (for the price paid). 4. Lovely ambience. The Not-So-Good 1. Appetiser and entrees could be improved. 2. Finer balance between good and overly attentive service. 3. Better way to provide detailed descriptions of the dishes.
