ChinaTown Dessert 糖仁街甜品屋
Value SET LUNCH is available on MON - SAT
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsExceptionalThe glutinous rice balls are filled with black sesame are very delicious. The ginger soup is very spicy and it is really fit this whole dessert. However, I still feel that I prefer to have peanuts filling rather than black sesame.
Ficelle Boulangerie & Patisserie
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsBadI am quite disappointed with their standard and lack of varieties here. There are only 6 types of breakfast set available. I think I rather go back to Levain to have my fine breakfast.
Munakata Japanese Restaurant
Japanese Restaurant is located. For your information, Munakata is operating its business in a huge bungalow with three different sections, a Noodle Bar, Fine Japanese Cuisine and a Japanese Karaoke Lounge.
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsExceptionalThey only provide salmon sashimi which is a big letdown for such an expensive buffet. When I dine in this restaurant, I keep comparing with Umai-ya and it gives me a feeling that this is really not worth it. Therefore, in my opinion, this is not a place you should choose for your ala-carte Japanese buffet experience.
My Honeymoon Dessert House
My Honeymoon Desserts House @ Sunway Pyramid, a restaurant owned by a husband and wife team who share the same passion for the best desserts.
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsBadWow! Pretty disappointing line of desserts that I had!!! I wonder why it is so bad. No wonder they do not have much crowds like Sweet Hut.
Hee Lai Ton Restaurant
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsSuperbI really highly recommend this restaurant for not just their ala-carte meal but also their Dim Sum too. Wi-fi is available as well! Parking is ample inside this building.
Fukuya
The Japanese garden was very well maintained and designed. It was a quiet and peaceful place for conversation.
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsExceptionalI will say a fantastic Japanese cuisine experience I had once again at Fukuya. Not a 6-star restaurant but definitely a 5-star restaurant for me. If you does not want to spend crazy amount of money at Kampachi, this is a place worth for you to consider. The parking are quite limited at their own parking area. However, you will be invited by the friendly jockey which the service is free of charge. I was told by one of the waitress there that if we would like to eat their fresh oyster, we need to book in advance as their air-flown schedule on every Tuesday and Friday evening. So we can reserve the fresh oyster for the later at night for our dinner. Price is vary depends on season.
GoGung
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsExceptionalKorean cuisine especially for their BBQ, lamb, chicken, beef and pork are inevitable in their menu. However, I find it rather interesting when I went into a Korean Restaurant called GoGung Fusion @The Gardens, pork is not in their menu. Yes, this is a Halal Korean Restaurant. Good news for Muslim citizens! Without important pork set in their menu, they come one with other interesting meat such as duck, squid, prawns and fish.
Hokkaido Ramen Santouka
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsExceptionalThis restaurant is established in 1988 in Asahikawa, Hokkaido. Santouka founder - Hitoshi Hatanaka wanted to develop a classic Ramen for all to savored to the last, spoonful and topped with a fabulous char-siu pork. In essence, a masterfully assembled Ramen whose superior ingredients and magnificent, robust flavor would truly stand out and long-lasting.
Bon Ga Korean Restaurant
This restaurant is opened by a korean, patronised mostly by koreans and it serves delicious and authentic korean food.
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsExceptionalOne thing I like about this Korean restaurant is you will able to see the owner of the restaurant taking care of every table in her restaurant very well. Making sure everyone is dining comfortably despite their air-con is spoiled on that day. Pretty hot when you going to have a Korean BBQ in there.
Pasar Air Itam
Foremost and famous Air Itam Asam Laksa, some claim they are the best in Penang, some even said this is the best Asam Laksa.
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsExceptionalIf you ask 1000 of locals in Penang about where can I get the best Assam Laksa in Penang, I can guarantee you that 900 of them will said "near Kek Lok Si Temple". Actually the place is at Pasar Air Itam which is located at the bottom of Kek Lok Si Temple hill. If you cannot find the place, just ask the direction from any local at the area. They can easily pointed you to the location.
Restoran Nyonya Makko
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsExceptionalIt is not a bad restaurant if you like Nyonya food that badly. This restaurant was quite crowded even on weekdays. Very amazing. One thing is the fact is everyone is there for their cendol.
Marutama Ramen
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsExceptionalIf you are a Ramen lover, I can assure you that the best Ramen I have so far is at Marutama Ramen, Fahrenheit88. Most of the Japanese Restaurant I have tried so far on their Ramen has failed me is because their Ramen is way too salty and the noodle taste like a normal hawker noodle which should not cost that much for a bowl of noodle!
Fat Spoon
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsExceptionalThis restaurant, I pretty like their design and their attractive food menu. I do admit their food is reasonably priced and it is a great place for the working people to dine!
Kissaten Coffee and Restaurant
The restaurant has located at Jaya 1 and adopted simple white theme.
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsBadThis restaurant concept is same like Pasta Zanmai. However, I would prefer Pasta Zanmai more than this. Please do not feel surprised when you still find Kissaten overload with peoples sometimes especially at IOI Boulevard branch. Actually their price is quite reasonable for the food quality they served. Maybe just this branch at JayaONE is badly displayed themselves.
Umai-Ya Japanese Restaurant
The restaurant uses the “tatami” style seating where you’re sitting on an elevated dining room sunken well for your feet.
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsExceptionalNow I had a Japanese ala-carte buffet. There are pros and cons about ala-carte buffet: Pros: 1) Food are served hot and freshly made 2) You do not have to make or scoop your own food 3) You do not have to walk around and hunt for food. 4) Your service charges are greatly paid of. Cons: 1) Food variety is lesser than a self service Japanese Restaurant 2) Less participation in making your own food.
