Layers of marine goodness, all the luxury foods, like prawns, abalone, the most expensive items being on top, and progress to the "less luxury" items, like pork, at the bottom. Nevertheless, I loved the bits of fatty porky. I am a peasant.

Frangipani Restaurant & Bar
fatboybakes posted fatboyrecipes.blogspot.com 252 ReviewsThe lovely interior and courtyard pool. It's impressive that given the price of real estate in these parts these days, they have chosen beauty over function, when clearly, they could have increased the number of tables by getting rid of the pool, but it adds immeasurably to the ambience of the place, and actually (gasp, don't ever quote me), makes it one of the more romantic places for dinner.

posted fatboyrecipes.blogspot.com 252 ReviewsTerrine de Foie Gras au porto RM98. I personally favour a pan seared foie gras over a terrine, but this was choc ful of foie gras, so much so for a brief moment, none of us were sure if it was a pure chunk of foie gras, or indeed a terrine. Melt in the mouth, with that wealth of taste that comes with the lavish use of foie gras.
