Overall, I highly recommend this cafe for your daily coffee indulgence. As for the breakfast choice, I do not think this is the right place for it.

Bad

I wasn't too pleased with my visit to coffee stain.

Firstly, I heard from a friend that they have this unique 3D-art on your coffee. To be honest, I was dissapointed. It cost a whooping RM5 for the 3D-art itself with only 3 designs to choose from (dog,cat and bear). Also, it is only available for hot chocolate. Not good. The design varies. Sometimes it is good, other time it is unrecognizable.

Secondly, the services are slow and not very friendly. We asked for 2 glass of water, which never arrive. The hot chocolate with 3D-art took forever to be served. Mind you, there isn't many customers around. About 4-5 tables, including us. Also, when our food finally arrived, guess what? No utensils. Where are our fork and spoon may I ask? We have to wait for another god knows how long for them to bring our utensils.

Thirdly, the food. I ordered; a breakfast menu with scones, eggs, side salad and supposedly bacon. Turns out my bacon transformed into ham. Seriously? Ham? My God... Anyway, the scones are dry and crusty. It breaks into crumbs when I dig in. The jam and cream that comes with it, are very bad. Cream way too watery and the jam taste funny. With very little amount. Definitely not enough for 2 scones. Well, eggs and side salad taste like any other eggs and side salad. Ham..was meh :/

As for my friend, she ordered scones(which I already describe) and 3D-art hot chocolate. The hot chocolate taste really normal. Like your average hot chocolate. Nothing special.

We did not try their other menu item and neither their cakes or coffee, so I'm not going to comment on that. But judging from what we ordered and their service, I don't think there's a need to try out their other dishes.

Overall Rating: 6/10. Depending on whether you're all in for the caffeine, or if you'd just like the idea of slurping from an adorable cup of popped-up foam.

Overall I enjoy drinking coffee at Coffee Stain, very nice and relaxing place for a cup of coffee.

The setting of the place is rather vintage, which makes it very pleasant.

ove it! especially their cappucinno. healthy food are serve there too! the crew is friendly and know their coffee very well.
