For something sweeter, creme brulee is excellently done, melting in the mouth giving you the sweet sensation that you need to complete your meal.

Superb

Pig parts soup and smooth poached chicken rice served from a tiny standalone stall on a sidewalk in KL. Simple, rustic food that’s made very well and offered at extremely good prices.

Palsaik Korea BBQ

Cuisines Korean

One of the Korean restaurant chains that is still getting much love as ever is the Palsaik Korean BBQ restaurant. So what makes Palsaik Korean BBQ different from the other Korean BBQ restaurants? The answer lies in the unique 8-colour pork barbecue! The menu is also relatively simple, it comes in a wide spread of two-page menu, where you could opt for the set you preferred. We ordered the premium set which featured the signature 8-colour pork barbecue, grilled deodeok (Lanceolate) root and premium kimchi. We also had an additional trooper soup at the side while we wait for the barbecue pork to be ready.

I definitely recommend this place for everyone, even if you can’t live without meat. You will definitely their dishes here. :) All in all, this place is worth it. I have come here on many different occasions and the food never disappoints. This is a place where you could bring your family and friends to have a hearty meal and you will be pretty confident that they will love the dishes. Not only the food is good, the services here are very friendly and efficient. *More thumbs up!*

HaiLam Kopitiam

Cuisines Local Hailam

The Hailam Kopitiam, a concept cafe, serves the original Hainanese tastes. This is especially true of our signature home-made kaya that is undoubtedly the most sought after item on their menu. The cooking style, the unique flavours and distinct tastes that the Foh Heong Kopitiam is noted for has undergone little change. Patrons will be familiar with such authentic items as our specially prepared coffee / tea, home-made kaya with toasted bread (roti bakar) and half-boiled eggs, popular hainanese chicken chop and fish fillet prepared as in colonial times, mee soup, nasi goreng and of course the all time favaurite, hainanese chicken rice.

I easily digested the char grilled soft juicy chicken, crispy coated prawns, tangy salad and the scoop of butter creamy mashed potatoes. The accompanied sauce was a pleasure to my palate; mildly infused with honey, chili and bbq flavored sauce.
