Leong Kee
sirburpsalot posted sirburpsalot.blogspot.com 13 ReviewsSuperbPig parts soup and smooth poached chicken rice served from a tiny standalone stall on a sidewalk in KL. Simple, rustic food that’s made very well and offered at extremely good prices.
Tai Lei Loi Kei Pork Chop Bun 澳门大利来咖啡室
sirburpsalot posted sirburpsalot.blogspot.com 13 ReviewsSuperbFamous pork chop buns from Macau has arrived in Malaysia. The quality of the food is not exactly the same as the one in Macau, but is very close. And has the added advantage of being cheaper by the value of a return flight ticket.
Texas Chicken
sirburpsalot posted sirburpsalot.blogspot.com 13 ReviewsExceptionalGood-sized and beautifully cooked fried chicken which unfortunately is a bit lacking in flavour. The sides are awesome, though; it’s worth trying out just for the honey butter biscuits alone.
Old Siam
Old Siam Kopitiam, a humble kopitiam style restaurant tucked away at one of the corner in One Utama Shopping Centre.
sirburpsalot posted sirburpsalot.blogspot.com 13 ReviewsExceptionalA tiny corner shop in 1U that’s serving up very flavourful one-dish Thai street food. Staff seems to be all Thai so their food should be pretty authentic. Most importantly, they serve pork – no half-assed chicken versions here!
Tange
sirburpsalot posted sirburpsalot.blogspot.com 13 ReviewsExceptionalGreat neighbourhood casual dining joint that offers good food at good prices. If you live in Damansara Perdana, it’s a place you can go to several times a week without breaking the bank.
Pig Out Cafe
sirburpsalot posted sirburpsalot.blogspot.com 13 ReviewsSuperbGreat casual restaurant serving up amazing home-style porky dishes at very reasonable prices. Much care was taken with everything, even their side dishes.
Chong Toong Kee
sirburpsalot posted sirburpsalot.blogspot.com 13 ReviewsExceptionalIpoh hor fun with a thoroughly enjoyable smooth, slippery texture. Lately, they’ve been cutting corners rather egregiously, but I’d still go for the hor fun and chicken. Damansara Perdana branch is less well-known, so there should be less waiting.
Warung Leko
sirburpsalot posted sirburpsalot.blogspot.com 13 ReviewsExceptionalAmazing beef ribs. And great Indonesian food overall. Drinks are different from what we normally have; they’re not bad but not great, either.
KomPassion Thai Fusion Food
Kompassion at Damansara Kim, a Non-Halal fusion Thai food restaurant.
sirburpsalot posted sirburpsalot.blogspot.com 13 ReviewsExceptionalThai fusion food that offers up interesting new combinations. Prices are a little on the high side, and not everything is fantastic, but you should check it out if you want something completely different from what you get at most restaurants.
Sweet Hut
sirburpsalot posted sirburpsalot.blogspot.com 13 ReviewsSuperbFantastic D24 Durian Snow Ice dessert that tastes like eating chilled durian flesh. Not on their permanent main menu so go check it out quick in case they stop offering it.
Surisit Thai Kopitiam
Malaysia's First Thai Kopitiam... home-styled Thai food (Non Halal) !!!!
sirburpsalot posted sirburpsalot.blogspot.com 13 ReviewsSuperbUnassuming-looking restaurant that serves up great Thai food with big, explosive flavours. Prices are reasonable, too.
Dai Ban Noodles
elianatang posted sirburpsalot.blogspot.com 13 ReviewsExceptionalPan mee shop that serves pan mee, and a surprisingly excellent pork burger. We also tried the prawn rolls, which were great.
Hameed Pata Mee Goreng
The sotong taste sweet and spicy at the first few mouthful. Then it tasted spicy all the way until I finished the noodle. If you are a sotong lover, you should definitely try this out.
eli7880 posted sirburpsalot.blogspot.com 13 ReviewsSuperbUnique mamak mee goreng stall with very spicy sambal sotong on top. Mix well and enjoy a delicious mee goreng that’s unlike any other, with a real powerful kick.
