posted eatwhateatwhere.blogspot.comThe majority of the menu leans towards Thai specialities with Japanese offerings making up a small part of the menu only. The few that I tried, I have to say the Thai dishes made a more positive impact. The food I've managed to try here is average at best (though there's still plenty to try as the menu is quite extensive). Prices may be a little on the high side (for both types of cuisine, especially the desserts) but some of the Thai dishes do come in generous portion-sizes. I'm not sure if I'm convinced to order from the Japanese section of the menu again since they failed to nail the salmon skewer which I thought is one of the easiest things to execute. Managed by the fine folks of Chakri (of which I had the pleasure of dining before), I think the Thai dishes here are still worth checking out as they certainly won't be as expensive as Chakri. Just don't go in with too high an expectation and you should come off satisfied.

posted eatwhateatwhere.blogspot.comWith many CNY set menus costing in the region of RM200 (and more) per person this year, I think this is probably one of the better valued sets for a hotel-based restaurant...and you're assured of impeccable service and dining ambience. There are two other set menu options, the Good Fortune Menu @ RM1,388 nett and the Prosperous Gold & Jade Menu @ RM1,888 nett (and these set menus are available until the 15th day of New Year or 11 February 2017), so there is still time for you to partake in these feasts.

Since we decide to have our dinner in a while soon, that's why we decide to just order a small high-tea set. Overall taste was not too bad, I especially love the escargot which is so yummy without any stinky taste at all. My first time eat it as well! As for the Crab, Avocado and Lemon Zest Salad was a refreshing and appetizing combination too

Prices are pegged slightly at the sharp end for a meal, but are totally worthy and even more admirable among pork lovers.

The soup was robust, filling and absolutely satisfying in both texture and flavours. It wasn’t heavy on cream but with good tomato flavour and body nonetheless. For RM5.00, this was a steal.

posted sakthi-life.blogspot.comOverall, it was a perfect lunch for us. I'm glad that my brother loved it. Friendly service and delicious foods. Bear in mind that it takes time (15-20 minutes) to get pizza so if you are rushing ask the staff about the waiting time before placing your order.

The noodle is still missing cockles but I did notice a stronger ‘wok hei’ this time around. So I would still rate this a solid 7/10 – and that’s actually very good for a small town like BM.
