White Brick Oven
posted www.rebeccasaw.com 545 ReviewsDelightedly, the tomato soup, only RM5.00 for a big bowl plus a side of sourdough bread was WONDERFUL. The soup was robust, filling and absolutely satisfying in both texture and flavours. It wasn’t heavy on cream but with good tomato flavour and body nonetheless. For RM5.00, this was a steal.

That means when you buy yourself a meal there you can also pay for a meal or two for someone who will use it on another day. 3. Be a volunteer. 4. Be a paying customer. You can either have your lunch here (pay price as per menu) or even share the evening meal (pay any amount you wish). 5. Donate items – food or everyday necessities. OR even kitchen equipment or furniture!
Ngam Tom Yum Noodles
posted www.rebeccasaw.com 545 ReviewsNonetheless my RM14 tom yum noodles was acceptable as the portion of noodles was generous and the bowl included half an egg, a medium sized prawn, 3 squid rings and copious amount of oyster mushrooms. I believe the noodles are imported and no doubt substantial effort was required to prepare the deliciously piquant broth which leaned more towards the sourish side versus spicy.
Wild Honey
The most beautiful breakfasts all day, everyday.
posted www.rebeccasaw.com 545 ReviewsFood is good and the menu offers an expansive selection of desserts as well as savouries. As you may have observed above, although some of the dishes may be familiar brunch meals (eggs ben, pancakes, baked eggs) there were innovative twists in the use of ingredients or preparation methods which elevated typical brunch dishes to be more outstanding than usual. The dining space is comfortable, spacious and visually pleasant. The service attentive and the staff eager to please.

First Peranakan Patisserie, Kueh-kery™ and tea room by an 8th Generation Baba, the Great Grandnephew of the eminent Baba Sir Tun Tan Cheng Lock.
posted www.rebeccasaw.com 545 ReviewsI love and I’m in full support of the owners’ vision of showcasing Peranakan heritage through this “kueh-kery”. Their aim to make authentic Peranakan kueh and desserts available to the public is certainly commendable In addition to education, locals and foreigners can enjoy dainty pieces of local delicacies, savouries and beverages in an air-conditioned outlet. While the decor and ambience could do with more work, it is still a decent place for some quiet time. No WIFI is available at the moment.
Baba Nyonya by Sambal Chilli
posted www.rebeccasaw.com 545 ReviewsI had a pleasant meal at Baba Nyonya. The dishes posssessed satisfying, homecooked flavours which I love. Granted there were variations in some of the dishes I had, but tastewise they were still delicious. If you are not a stickler for tradition, just keep an open mind and enjoy the dishes as it is.
