Lao Dou Pork Noodle 老豆猪肉粉专门店

The pork balls were good & no unpleasant pork smell however the loh shu fun (silver needle noodles) 老鼠粉 was just regular soy bean sauce noodles (we ordered big size). I was regret to order the prawn fish paste noodles because it's really not nice. The fish paste was OK but some of the prawns have really weird taste & I think plain prawns does not go well with plain soup. I prefer a little spicy prawns' broth (Penang Prawn Mee). Luckily I didn't order big size. Total is RM 24.60 (USD 6.10).

The speciality of their YTF is they prepare the uncook food there it self and will be placed at a side table for the customer to pick what they want and pass it to the kitchen to boil or fried. This means they do not come to your table to take your order and you need to pick your item at the corner side stall.

Some of the food weren't fresh as well e.g. one of the beancurd dishes with oyster were 'sour'/has gone bad. In my personal opinion, paying RM55.20/person (RM48.00++/person) for a limited variety of sushi, sashimi, & Japanese dishes wasn't really worth-it. Service was quite slow as well, especially since we were seated in the private room.

Generally, I don't mind to have my dinner here more often, because the environment is clean and decent. So restaurant sometimes no need to serve superb quality, but "not bad" quality with other plus points already deserved a good comment. This restaurant serves typical Gao Zhou (高州) dishes.
