There is a causal charm about the food service and atmosphere at Drift which brings the Sydney laid back attitude and attentive staff to Kuala Lumpur. The menu is printed daily and is classified as “Modern Australian” which means using the freshest produce to create dishes that are inspired by the large array of multi cultural influences found in Australia. Drift is so named to encourage people to drift in and out, drift through the wine list and menu and more importantly drift through conversations with friends at the bar or while eating. This is why all the food on the menu is designed to share creating conversation and interaction adding to its casual professional charm.

This pork mee (pork noodle) vendor occupies the front right corner of a Brickields coffee shop. A number of noodle types are on offer, both rice (kuayteow, loh see fun, bee hoon) and wheat (mee and mee sua). Noodles can be had in soup or konlo (dry-mixed), and egg is optional. Piled atop a gently poached egg and swathed in dark soy and oil-fried garlic, they were accompanied by a tiny saucer of fresh chilies in soy sauce and a small bowl of soup.

For me, it is also one of the best pork mee I have tried. My boss swears by it! He has been eating this guy's pork mee ever since he was a kid staying in Brickfields.
