Foodie Review
Mie Cord Char Koay Teow Penang
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsDepending on your appetite and budget, there are 3 versions of Char Koay Teow here: normal @ RM4.50, big @ RM5.50 or special @ RM10.
Kafe Sun Yoon Wah
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsI can’t say anything about the mentioned dishes since we did not try any of them. But based on our own experience, there was nothing to complain about the food or the service.
Maison Francaise
We welcome KL's cultured culinary lovers to come and experience this ravishing residence transformed into an elegant eatery. Maison Francaise, a combination of French fine dine, garden pool lounge and an exclusive Cigar Lounge on the top floor.
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsTheir Sunday brunch has a reputation for being one of the best in KL and features a menu that changes weekly for continuous surprises.
San Nae Deul BBQ Korean Restaurant
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsAs mentioned before, the choices offered by Noonsaram’s mini Ssam Bab buffet are not as vast as the others, and that might be their only disadvantage. However for only RM20-RM25nett, one can’t really complain about it.
Lucky King Bun (Seremban Outlet)
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsFrom what I observed during our meal, every table ordered at least a bun; while having a couple of side dishes as complements.
Poppo Kanteen Restaurant
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsIt is also worth mentioning that Poppo Kanteen was renovated and equipped with recycled materials for that unique atmosphere that does not pander to a certain age group.
Sola-Pocha Korean Soju and Snack Bar
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsAll in all, we enjoyed ourselves and before we knew it, we had been chatting over food and drinks for hours. Time sure passes by quickly when you are having fun! The only downside I can think of here is the price, as some dishes’ prices require fine tuning to justify their worth. That said, there’s no GST or service charge so the prices shown are nett.
Daily Burger
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsFrom what I see, they have been around for quite some time and have built up a loyal customer base who just kept on coming. As we were waiting, the queue never seemed to dwindle even a bit!
Restoran Leng Kee (Clay Pot) & Bak Kut Teh Centre
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsWith everything considered, Leng Kee’s Bak Kut Teh is good but not as good as our favorite. On the other hand, their braised pork and chicken feet might be worth your time if you have a liking for it.
Restoran M Two
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsDespite all the wonderful things I have said about Fook Loong, it’s not perfect due to the rather diluted chili sauce which could be a lot better. That totally counts as nitpicking though.
Kechara Oasis
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsAs for beverage, the Cold Pressed Fruit Juices are highly recommended, especially the Rejuvenating Boosters which has a blend of apples, lemons and oranges. I don’t usually rave about a fruit juice, but this was really well concocted and it was truly refreshing and amazing to drink.
Hiro Zen Japanese Restaurant
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsAdmittedly, it probably won’t beat your favorite or other higher end restaurants in town, but it’s good enough for a satisfying meal that won’t break the bank.
Meng Kee You Tiao 明记油条
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsMeng Kee is no doubt a good place for a cheap tea break but if you ask me if it deserves a special trip, I would have to say no. Fai Kei, on the other hand is actually worth the drive.
Crab Sifu Restaurant 蟹师傅
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsOverall, the dinner was a disappointment given that the pricey main dishes did not meet our expecations.
Sate Atok
vkeong posted www.vkeong.com 879 ReviewsIf you are here looking for a proper dinner, the restaurant Sate Atok is operating at serves cheap and delicious Malay food.
