Opium KL
PureGlutton posted pureglutton.com 234 ReviewsOpium is incredibly photogenic. From its colourful exterior to its opulent interior right down to the food and drinks, everything dances in glee for my camera.
Kampachi
The name "Kampachi" is not an unfamiliar name to most of those people who would love Japanese cuisine.
PureGlutton posted pureglutton.com 234 ReviewsIn the words of Chiharu Yabe, General Manager of Kampachi Restaurants, “this is a great way to experience different cultures of Japanese food and the Japanese are so passionate about food, they practise kuidaore – eat till you drop!” That sounds very Malaysian to me, too!
Simply d
PureGlutton posted pureglutton.com 234 ReviewsIt’s never boring in Simply d – there’s always some kind of promotion going on in there.
Unplugged Music Cafe
PureGlutton posted pureglutton.com 234 ReviewsI was glad to find out that not only is Unplugged Music Cafe a great chillout place, their menu features some pretty good and affordable food too. There’s a good selection of pastas, pies, local favourites as well as grilled mains to satisfy most palates.
Ippudo
PureGlutton posted pureglutton.com 234 ReviewsThe Suntory Premium Malt’s features a delicate floral aroma and a rich, quality taste.
The Restaurant
PureGlutton posted pureglutton.com 234 ReviewsChef Alexander Waschl is all geared up for some fine meaty adventures with the prime cuts in his kitchen – specifically the Australian Black Angus prime cuts of grass and grain-fed beef. Take your pick of ribeye, striploin, tenderloin, beef cheeks, oxtail and wagyu cuts cooked in a variety of ways – have them grilled, roasted, poached and even smoked.
A Li Yaa Island Restaurant and Bar
ALiYaa means ‘elephant’ in Singhalese and also synonymous with a restaurant that serve authentic Sri Lankan cuisine nestled at Bukit Damansara .
PureGlutton posted pureglutton.com 234 ReviewsA Li Yaa’s cosy intimate interior is welcoming, especially after a long working day. As I made myself comfortable and scrutinised their menu, I could feel my hunger escalating, thanks to the lovely spicy aromas floating in from the kitchen.
Ti Chen
PureGlutton posted pureglutton.com 234 ReviewsWe had some of their signature items like Steamed Prawn Dumplings, Chicken Siew Mai, Glutinuous Rice with Chicken and Wok-fried Radish Cake with Seafood.
Indulge
PureGlutton posted pureglutton.com 234 ReviewsAnother good dish to order is the Cajun Chicken (RM20). The boneless chicken thigh is mildly marinated with Cajun seasoning and served with fried potato wedges and vegetables.
Chapman's Bar
PureGlutton posted pureglutton.com 234 ReviewsThen there are the irresistible pots of dhall curry and fish curry to go with breads all laid out enticingly.
Fierce Curry House, Publika
PureGlutton posted pureglutton.com 234 ReviewsWho can resist juicy tandoori chicken thighs like those done in Fiercer? Thick plump thighs, in the signature red masala marinade are served straight from the tandoor.
Chatz Brasserie
PureGlutton posted pureglutton.com 234 ReviewsBesides the traditional Bubur Lambuk, this year the chefs at Chatz Brasserie are cooking 18 types of porridge for their Ramadhan Selera Kampung. The clay pots are all lined up in one corner – lift the lids and you will be greeted with the lovely aromas of lobster porridge, bubur menguh Bali, bubur isi ketam and a whole lot more.
Il Faro Bistro & Lounge
PureGlutton posted pureglutton.com 234 ReviewsLovers of buttery cakes will be pleased with the Lemon Poppy Seed Cake (RM12) with the popping seeds and tangy tinge. I prefer the Tiramisu (RM22) which was served in a glass… scooping the smooth velvety slightly-alcoholic concoction into my mouth was a nice way to end the meal.
Taste Enclave
PureGlutton posted pureglutton.com 234 ReviewsThe prices here are very affordable and portions are adequate while some borders on generous. A meal here with a group of friends or family won’t bust the purse and the dining environment is more than comfortable.
