Ah Hee Bak Kut Teh

Business Hour Open from 5am to lunch, closed for dinner Closed: Wednesdays

Some bak kut teh shops charge for top-up of soup but not so at Ah Hee, which I thought is a good move.

The interior is different at parts so depending on where you choose to enjoy your meal, it could be near the windows with bright sunlight streaming through or in dim, relaxed ambiance.

Nice food and good ambience with great views of KL skyline.

My main was the Aged Striploin, aged 28 days in the kitchen of The Upper Deck itself. I love my dry aged steaks and was pleased with Chef Eugene’s efforts.

Besides, the siu yok (roast pork) wasn’t bad at all. It wasn’t too salty nor too oily and the ratio of fat to meat was ideal for me.

My personal favourite is still the Ayam Berempah; creamy, thick aromatic chicken curry which Uncle John assured me that it is a recipe uniquely’s Limapulo.

Business Hour 9am - 6pm (Daily). 7pm - Late (Weekends only).

Sitka is a restaurant in Damansara Heights, situated in the west of Kuala Lumpur and set in the 30-year-old shop lots of Jalan Batai. This intimate, 40-seat neighbourhood eatery is our interpretation of a modern restaurant, giving a nod to the food scene of Copenhagen, Barcelona and London.

I personally foresee some grumbles about the portion and pricing and all I can say is, you pay for quality. :) The tacos and rolls/subs may seem to be on the high side, however the buttermilk chicken is pretty good value for RM23. So are their quiches and cakes.
