Luna Bar
Must admit that the ambiance is undeniably sophisticated and breath-taking. Located on the very top floor (floor 33) at the Pacific Regency Hotel suites, it has one of the most strategic spot for the patrons to get pleasure in the scenic views of other tall skyscrapers and brightly lighted up edifices. KL tower and the Petronas Twin Towers can't be missed out.
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsExceptionalIt was an awesome experience at Luna Bar. We really enjoyed the most of it. In my opinion, if you are there for a catching up session, you better get a window sitting because it is very hard to chat when is beside the pool especially the background music is blasting at the highest level. Apart of that, do not try their wines. Very limited and not many good choices to choose from. Lastly, check the weather before you dropping by because if is raining, you going to spoil the whole night. Oh ya...I almost forgot. They should have a service bell on each table because very hard to get the waiter and waitress attention under the loud noise environment.
Fancy Mee Corner Restaurant (爱面子)
It’s even better for students (especially TAR students) because they get to enjoy 15% discount on the food and beverages (not applicable on weekends and public holidays) Just show your student ID to enjoy the discounts. And for anyone who celebrates their birthday here, the person would get a free pan mee, a snack and a super huge ice blended drink to be shared among the friends.
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsExceptionalI am pretty not really impressed with their pan mee which will lead me from miles away to taste them. However, if you are happen to be around there, you are very much welcome to taste them.
Komura, Corus Hotel
Munakata in Jalan Sultan Ismail is another japanese restaurant offering ala carte buffet.
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsExceptionalThis is the restaurant outlook at the front door. Here is my overall conclusion. There are some really good which I have marked 3 marks and above. But there are some really very bad and disappointing. The disappointment is even greater when we have to pay more than other restaurant with a similar standard. Luckily I did not pay for the RM98.00++ buffet. I will kick myself for that.
Fukuharu
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsExceptionalThis is the sister company with Fukuya Japanese Restaurant. Somehow I still prefer Fukuya more than this. Their quality and standard must be reviewed already. Of course, their Sashimi is still the best. I just hope they do not be so rigid with their Sashimi Moriawase. They should let customers change the items they like in the bowl as you cannot force your customer to choose the items they do not fancy. After all, this is not a low class Japanese Restaurant because a high class Japanese Restaurant will always served food that is suit with customer demand and requirement. Not customers suit the restaurant's rigid menu. We might as well dine at Sushi Zanmai.
Du Viet
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsExceptionalI really do like this restaurant here with friendly service and delicious food. However, I somehow think that they are good with dessert rather than their main course. However, one thing for sure is their foods are really expensive and somehow the quality does not fit the price tag.
Mochi Sweets
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsExceptionalI have chosen Green Tea @RM3.50, Peach Cream @RM3.50, Red Bean @RM3.50, Caramel Macchiato @RM3.50, Red Bean @RM4.00 and Sakura @RM4.00. Sakura is their best selling one but to me that is the worst one to choose. Just one tiny bite and I already decided not to eat the whole thing. It taste like eating medicine. I hate such a taste. As for others, all are splendid especially the red bean, you will taste the real red bean flavor rather than awfully sweet taste where most of other shops are selling such. The rich red bean taste really making me wanted for more!
Ochado 茶の道
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsSuperbFinally! I got on hold of this rare drink! Very delicious! Super fun! I like the pop eggs keep on popping inside my mouth. The ingredient in the pop egg is coffee. The coffee taste is not very strong and it is slightly sweet but blend it well with my 25% sugar milk tea. If you just eat the pop egg like that, you will find it quite sweet.
Cafe Takahashi
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsBadThe place you should avoid at all cost! A good friend of mine did ask me before that do I like Italian food? Because I seldom blog Italian food. I love Italian food but how am I going to sustain the love when I keep eating such a food??? It is spoiling my image over Italian cuisine! I do not foresee this restaurant will last long if they continue with such a standard. Prepare to see this restaurant no longer available!
Daidomon Japanese BBQ Restaurant Sdn Bhd
The cows are beer and sake fed plus staying in a very nice environment to get the best quality meats. The wagyu beefs are imported from Japan and each piece gives you the most perfect portion you can get from a cow which is the belly.
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsExceptionalI highly recommend this Yakiniku restaurant as their meat served are really top class and well worth your every cents. It is just their Sashimi and Sushi which are best for you to avoid at all cause.
The Sphere Lounge
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsBadApart of the ambiance, overall is rather disappointing when I expect something would be better when I am having my high tea in a 5 star restaurant. For the service, I only can see one waitress who is really working and serving almost full of customers. No one is there to take us to a seat so we had to search for a table ourselves. That's not all! The so simple 3-tier set has taken more than 30 minutes to deliver them in front of us. The worst part is they allow smoking inside the hotel. They seem like degrading themselves from being a 5 star hotel. Too many to be listed in the end...
Xenri D’Garden Terrace
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsSuperbBasically, we are happy with all the food they have served to us except the stale seaweed wrapper. As for the service, I dislike the way captain look (no smile at all!) which has given to us while compensating us with the Sake Toro. It is somehow spoiled a certain percentage of our appetite.
San Terri Cottage Cafe
This place has awesome cheese cakes and other cakes, plus pretty good coffees and teas.
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsExceptionalSplendid design with super comfy sofas which we wouldn't want to move our butt away from the place. However, their service is ridiculously poor. 3 waiters and waitress but seems like only one is working. No matter how I wave my hand, no one seems to see me. Really disappointing.
Tommy Le Baker Boulangerie Pâtisserie
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsSuperbOverall, I believe the boss is doing all these out from his passion in breads. He is making all these with all his heart and soul to bring to people around him that his love towards them. However, I do hope he can start his business during breakfast hours.
Jal Dae Ji Korean BBQ Restaurant
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsExceptionalThe service given by the lady boss was top class but not for her waiter and waitress which is lack of attentiveness. We need to call them a lot of times to refill my side dishes. Pretty disappointing. As for the food, this is the cheapest I had so far except the lamb which is overpriced. But for the taste, it is not really special enough to make you to revisit.
Tokyo Teppan
Pas De Nom posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsExceptionalOverall the restaurant serve quite very well set meal but not much choices to choose from. Their rice is pretty expensive which is cost @RM4.00/bowl and their green tea is chargeable @RM3.00/pax. However, I do feel this is not a bad restaurant for your slightly exclusive lunch.
