Awesome Canteen
spicysharon posted www.spicysharon.com 315 ReviewsOverall Rating: 6/10. Towards the end of my meal, I told my friend, this place would do well as a hangover jaunt, where taste buds are still numbed from alcohol and with most food tasting like no other. For me, Awesome Canteen was not so awesome after all.
Little Wonton
spicysharon posted www.spicysharon.com 315 ReviewsOverall Rating: 7.5/10. Loved the golden brown wantons; liked the charcoal noodles - but mostly the wantons. Both the sweet and savory wontons we ordered were fabulous. It was worth every penny spend. The charcoal noodles - not a huge fan, but it was a pretty decent carb-condiment to have at the side.
La Risata
spicysharon posted www.spicysharon.com 315 ReviewsOverall Rating: 7/10. I enjoyed the Spaghetti Ala Risata; My friend really liked the Pizza; We both weren't that fond of the gnocchi though. All in all, it was a great dinner and I would probably return for the spaghetti some time in the future. Note - do make reservations.
Naughty Babe Dirty Duck
spicysharon posted www.spicysharon.com 315 ReviewsOverall Rating: 8/10. Being new, customer service deserves a triple thumbs up. Despite operating at peak capacity and with a stream of people waiting outside, food was speedy to arrive, within 10 minutes upon ordering at the most. Dinner was delicious. The portion of pork ribs served was easily one of the largest I've had so far.
Caffebene
spicysharon posted www.spicysharon.com 315 ReviewsOverall Rating: 8/10. The cinnamon caramel honey bread was amazing - nicely toasted, crisp outside and soft and fluffy inside. The swirl of cream was surprisingly mild, not too sweet, and with just the right texture too.
Palsaik Korea BBQ
spicysharon posted www.spicysharon.com 315 ReviewsOverall Rating: 6/10. Perhaps a little over-hyped for now - the pork bellies came slightly below expectations. It wasn't as tantalizing and as flavorful as we hoped, with almost all of it tasting identical.
Bankara Ramen
spicysharon posted www.spicysharon.com 315 ReviewsOverall Rating: 5/10. Lunch wasn't that great and unequivocally fused by my lack of interest in the ramen arena. Nevertheless, I highly doubt a revisit anytime soon.
Frisky Goat
spicysharon posted www.spicysharon.com 315 ReviewsOverall Rating: 7/10. Somehow or rather, Frisky Goat reminded me of The Good Batch (Part 1/Part 2), from the dimly lit settings, letter-font signage, to its somewhat fusion menu. Given that the cafe just opened for a couple of months, the menu looks quite promising. There are definitely some gaps to be filled however.
Miam Miam
spicysharon posted www.spicysharon.com 315 ReviewsOverall Rating: 8/10. Our meal was surprisingly delicious. There's just something about this unconventional cafe that was extremely inviting to me - the French secret maybe. I would definitely return for more baked eggs and squid ink spaghetti, and would probably give the much talked about souffle de nuage a go in my next visit too
Tokyo Pastry
spicysharon posted www.spicysharon.com 315 ReviewsOverall Rating: 7/10. I was largely contented with my meal at Tokyo Pastry that fine afternoon. There were some-good and some-bad, but it was mostly good. The place is not only reserved for the high tea Juliets, but have got plenty to offer for the Romeos too.
Ippudo
spicysharon posted www.spicysharon.com 315 ReviewsOverall Rating: 6.5/10. If I had to choose according to order of preference, it would have to be - Ippudo Kuro, Akamaru Shinaji, Karakamen and Shiromaru Motoaji.

spicysharon posted www.spicysharon.com 315 ReviewsOverall Rating: 7/10. There was something very genuine and likable about Huck's cafe. Food was delicious, service was great, and the concept was a clever idea - in this case, surprises that came in the form of scrumptious home cooked food!
La Crêperie de Caroline
spicysharon posted www.spicysharon.com 315 ReviewsOverall Rating: 6.5/10. It was a simple yet wonderful brunch. Both the savory and sweet crepes I had was delicious and unquestionably unique on its own. But the hefty price tag would probably be the main factor curtailing a revisit.
The Library Coffee Bar
spicysharon posted www.spicysharon.com 315 ReviewsOverall Rating: 5/10. Withal, I thought the place probably needs ample time to readjust from a bar to coffee place. The food tasted like microwaved, fast-food quality.
Moussandra Mediterranean Restaurant
spicysharon posted www.spicysharon.com 315 ReviewsOverall Rating: 7.5/10. Despite being in the market for close to 20 years already, Moussandra still oozes that homey appeal that is lacking in many family-run restaurant nowadays. Food is still as good as before and I would definitely revisit.
