Overall, Simply Mel's delicious Kristang dishes truly live up to its Portugese Malaccan heritage.This restaurant makes you feel right at home, with plenty of selections to suit the young and old.

I feel that my lunch set didn't do Simply Mel's justice though...I have heard so many high praises but left with a sense of vague satisfaction rather than robust delight, so me thinks I need a return visit to give Mel and her brood the chance to wow me.

All in all, it was yet another delightful meal at Simply Mel's. Heading there twice in a week might have been a bit overdoing the curry though (you have been warned!). This place is definitely on our list of eateries to revisit, and is especially good for those after-work weekdays for a more simple meal. =)
