Overall Rating: 4/10 because of my unsatisfactory kebab meat the atmosphere was still a plus. I wouldn't mind trying out the main branch inside Pavilliion.

Healthy yet tasty. This is my ideal dinner, i.e. just a simple chicken salad, especially after the gym. Wash it down with a beer and heave a sigh of satisfaction. Very nice!

We had so much fun that night, catching up with old friends and meeting up with new ones, that we talked and talked until we lost track of time. That’s the thing with Al Amar Express, its location right in the middle of the prime Bukit Bintang area was always filled with cars and people at any hour, that we didn’t realize how late it was by then.

Actually, the way the food served in Al Amar Express is very Asian and communal type eating. Very compatible with our Malaysian way of life. Lots of sharing, and lots of laughter over the dinner table.
