Fong Lye
Of course for those of you who don't live or work around Imbi, you can always visit the outlets at Gardens Midvalley or Desa Sri Hartamas. The menu is a little different but you get the gist of it ie. Taiwanese porridge.
posted www.blurco.comOverall meal was a 5/5! If can, I’d give 55555/5! Totally recommended! The restaurant size is a little small, so it can be a little packed. You can make reservations before hand. If you don’t, do expect to queue outside. My mom is quite close with the waitress so she called her to make reservations and also ordered the dishes in the afternoon.
Cannes Tea House
LoveEatShop94 posted loveeatshop94.blogspot.com 24 ReviewsExceptionalI bought the book voucher ‘Hot Spotts Coupons’ book in the college. It included a lot of food vouchers around Setapak area. It definitely can bring me to eat around Setapak! =)
Minmax Restaurant
There weren't much drawbacks from this meal, besides the pork-free agenda, and I wasn't really expecting much. However, the food proved me wrong. Halal Dim Sum can be very enticing and delicious as well, and considering the price we paid for, it's definitely reasonable as having usual dim sums (halal) at hotels is costly
posted chillout-soulout-freakout.blogspot.com 471 ReviewsOverall, we do enjoyed this place very much. I will not hesitate to invite my Muslim friends when I have another school gathering again.
Fatt Kee Roast Fish 發記招牌特色烤鱼
發記招牌特色烤鱼!有六种等级!不要辣,微辣,小辣,中辣,大辣和超级辣!您喜欢什么等级?
posted foreverinhunger.blogspot.comI find this is a very creative way in serving everything in a rectangular tray. It's like everything is just in a tray! Deep fried fish, clams, tiger prawns, squid, tofu, mushrooms and vegetables. These have definitely enhanced the broth to a whole new level. Spicy but addictive.
Li Yen
Li Yen, the hotel's award-winning signature restaurant, features Cantonese specialties with sumptuous dim sum for lunch and a la carte selections for dinner. * Three private dining rooms are available for exclusive and social functions * Traditional Chinese "Yangqing" music performed live * Sophisticated, casual attire recommended * Reservations are recommended
posted www.malaysianflavours.com 568 ReviewsDeep Fried Nian Gao with Yam 芋头炸年糕 We were already quite full by the time this Deep Fried Nian Gao was served but this is real good! Super crispy golden brown outer layer encasing sweet, creamy yam, sandwiching Chinese glutinous rice cake at the center.
Wong Ah Wah Grilled Chicken Wings
The shiny … golden … grilled chicken wing. Don’t you wish you could just reach out and grab a piece of it? Jalan Alor is a tourist attraction. With lots and lots of restaurants and stalls, it is truly a food haven.
applefoo posted www.applefoodees.com 229 ReviewsConsidering the food and drinks that we had, I expected it to be more expensive but it wasn’t.
Coco Steamboat
cindy tong posted www.cindysplanet.com 85 ReviewsThis particular Coco Steamboat is one of my favorite now. Wonder what so special about it? Mainly is because of the Milky Pork Bones infused soup base.
Tak Fok Hong Kong Seafood Restaurant
posted www.snowman1314.comPoon Choi 盆菜(6位) RM 398 for 6 Pax Here's come the main character of the day! Poon Choi that you can eat together with your family members. Looks how big and fresh of the Abalone, highly recommend!!
Grandmama's
Grandmama's has the advantage of being quieter as it is placed on 6th floor of Pavilion.
isaactan posted www.isaactan.net 327 ReviewsThe corn thrown into the dessert had to be a dish by itself judging from the amount thrown in, not that I'm complaining though as I really love eating these. A perfect way to end our meal, do check out Grandmama's Flavours Of Malaysia @ Pavilion KL the next time you're there shopping and looking for a place to dine in.
Restoran Muar
Cheryl Chan Photography posted www.cherylchanphotography.com 81 ReviewsSuperbIf you're someone who fond of crispy edges of a fried egg, I assure you that you can have a whole egg of crispiness here! Instead of having the conventional soy sauce to go with this dish, Restoran Muar has added cooking caramel for its slight sweetness along with aroma of dark soy which balanced out the greasiness. It might not be a dish for those health conscious patrons judging from the amount of oil needed, but this is the best fried egg I can ever find in KL town.
Restoran Makanan Laut Lau Heong
Zhen Liew Siang is a family run no- frills establishment tucked away in a quieter part of Sentul.
summerkid posted www.malaysianflavours.com 568 ReviewsRecommended? Of course. Stay for their Belacan Chicken and Squid on Hotplate.
Yummy Duck Roast House 鸭味无穷
ojsiew posted ojsiew.blogspot.com 633 ReviewsThe wonton is filled with minced meat and it was reasonably huge! It was a great lunch and most probably will return for other items in future! hehehe...
Shin Kee Beef Noodles Specialist (新九如牛肉粉)
One of the most popular places in KL for beef noodles.
liyenz posted wp.meGoodThe beef balls are fresh and springy when you eat it. Unlike some of the beef balls which are either powdery and hard to eat. The texture is different than another famous beef noodle called, Soong Kee also. You can order either soup or dry with your choices of noodles. The broth is clear and tasty. I did not feel thirsty after finishing the soup :) I prefer the dry beef noodle and so I can mix it with the minced meat. The generous amount of minced meat can mix well with any type of noodle. Overall, it is not too oily, just look okay when I mix with the kway teow.
Restoran Kam Kitchen
WACK posted wonderfoodtravel.blogspot.com 41 ReviewsSuperbMy favourite dish of the night was this: Chicken with Yam (RM 20). Yes, i've tasted pork with yam but chicken with yam? I can safely say that this was my first. The minimal sauce of this dish burst with flavours in my mouth, the tasty yam pieces danced around while the tender chicken meat completed the party. A dish that is definitely going to be ordered on our next visit; highly recommended.
