Chin Bee Tea Cafe
This Sifu was in coming up with dishes that will make anyone drool just by looking at it. This showed that with his seasoned experiences, he could just combine any ingredients in the kitchen to make great dishes.

Duck Egg Char Koay Teow
The quality seemed to be still maintained – good wok hei that oozed ‘warmth’ when you spread out the noodles, aromatic with lard, lots of bean sprouts and also generous amount of cockles and prawns.
blogalicious posted crispoflife.blogspot.com 34 ReviewsGoodHis charcoal duck egg char koay teow was slightly different than Jalan Pasar as he added Chinese sausage and topped with duck egg for RM 4.00. The koay teow was similarly fried with their mysterious dark sauce, cockles and bean sprouts. We were amazed by how tauke manage to stick the duck egg stick to every piece of the koay teow. This definitely worth trying.

blogalicious posted crispoflife.blogspot.com 34 ReviewsSuperbDry Bak Kut Teh (RM 8) could be spicy for non casual spicy eater. The flavorful starchy sauce has turned on our galloping mechanism on scooping the rice down our throat.
Hong Kong Tang Yuen
blogalicious posted crispoflife.blogspot.com 34 ReviewsGoodPersonally prefer the sea coconut dessert in soya milk more than their Tang Yuan.
Kheng Pin Cafe 群賓茶餐室
You can find different types of hawker food there like Char Koay Teow, Loh Bak, Yu Sang Kai Chok (Porridge), Chicken rice and others. Kheng Pin café is an old style café where you will still find those old fashioned marble tables and wooden chairs.
blogalicious posted crispoflife.blogspot.com 34 ReviewsSuperbNever get bored with their lobak, recently found that their wanton noodle and porridge are nice too.
Siam Road Char Koay Teow
Nicest Char Koay Teow in Penang. One can either 'ta-pau' or eat at the coffee shop opposite the stall.
blogalicious posted crispoflife.blogspot.com 34 ReviewsExceptionalUncle still using the authentic charcoal way. One hand manually fanning while the other hand busy frying.
Hokkien Loh
blogalicious posted crispoflife.blogspot.com 34 ReviewsSuperbStrong garlic as kick for the dish. It was more towards the spicy side. However, quality wise wasn't constant.
Teo Chew Cendol
The best chendol in Penang for years and still number 1
blogalicious posted crispoflife.blogspot.com 34 ReviewsExceptionalGreat chilling dessert during sultry day. Penang's coconut milk simply better.
